The reason why I asked is because I did the same thing and as I was adjusting my keep save I was curious to see if I could, seeing as the devs mentioned that the keep shouldn't track multiple romances. I'm worried more about running into a dialogue bug in the game.

You only have an end-game romance. So leliana will say that you attacked her (maybe) but she won't say that you were in love

I have been looking for somewhere that it would be appropriate to post this.

I just wanted to leave a big THANK YOU to Bioware for rescueing my lost warden from the depth of your terribad save data handling on the PS3 back in Dragon Age: Origins. After my console perished, all the save data that was inexplicably tied to the hardware died with it, and along went my most beloved warden.

Thanks to the Dragon Age Keep, I now have my warden and her choices back, and she is happily ruling next to Alistair. All is well in the world!

I absolutely love that the effort for world states was made!!!

I think the actual keep forum would have been better but this works too.

Well, looks like I should go back and replay Dragon Age 2 and see how that ends up. I stopped right around when the mom found a new boyfriend.

Was able to import DA1 but had to go back and edit some choices because it didn't match up to what I remembered. Use the tapestry, it gives way more options than the cinematic.

That is the point of the tapestry

I encountered a problem regarding the Keep import. Early in the game when you first arrived at Haven you get to talk to your companions. When I spoke with Varric I asked him how Hwake's companions are doing, and he mentioned that Merrill, my Hwake's romance, was helping a Dalish clan or something like that, but I remember people saying that Varric should say something like she's with Hwake. Does it mean the import doesn't work or there're some errors? Have anyone encountered discrepancy between what is said in game and your import?

I'm thinking the Keep will probably remain in Beta as to add stuff and fix problems that may arise as well as eventually adding info for DA:I into the keep for DA4. The keep being a work in progress type feature.

when it is released around the world?

US folks think always they are not alone in the universe but they don't know that they are not alone on the earth... *watch news networks*

I am now experimenting with the Dragon Age Keep and am really confused.  I know it doesn't import world states, but I thought we could "sync" our old games for purposes of generating character, race, gender, and class.  Mostly I just want a Warden/Hawke that has the name I gave them in DAO and DA2 without having the accept the default names of "Elissa" or whatever.  Can anybody tell me how to do that?  I can't figure it out.

Okay, I've now found where my custom characters are, but whenever I select them, nothing happens.  There's even a giant "choose your character" prompt but nothing happens upon hero selection.  I am forced to go back and then the hero is still set on the default warden.  Any ideas?

Hi, we'll look into this particular conversation to see if there's a bug - thanks for letting us know. To check what decisions you've imported into DAI from the Keep you can use the playthrough states. If you visit the World States section in the Keep and select "Playthrough States" from the drop down menu (or use the arrows to page between sections) you'll see your DAI playthroughs there.

We gave a quick overview of using this in our most recent Keep Twitch and you can see how this works about 15mins into the stream. Can check it out here: http://www.twitch.tv/bioware/c/5497500

I hope this helps :)

I've had that too, I do hope it's just that Merill went to help her clan and not a bug that ignores the romance.

So, can anyone tell me why all of my Dragon Age: Origins Wardens and all my DA2 Hawke aren't in the Keep? I'd really like to use some of them that are not there. Also, can I delete any of them? I don't mean the world, I mean from the options/the card-like things.

My import seems to be bugged. When I talk to Varric in Haven he refers to Hawke as being a man even though the world state I'm using has Hawke as female. Has anyone else experienced something like this and is there a solution? I'm on PC if that's relevant.

EDIT: I exported from the keep again and started a new character, and now everything seems fine. Don't what that was all about.

Ok i deleted the default world state after making my own and naming it. It then got tossed into the default slot after deleting the default world state. Then when the option to import comes up when i load the game up it auto loads one that says default world state. Is that the one i created and it's being referred to as default world state because mine got moved to default world state slot after deleting the default one? I just don't want to get to far into the game just to find out it's not the world state i made.

Edit: Another issue with the keep is the Nathaniel Howe choice and the one regarding Yevhen's quest, they seem to cancel each other out, you either pick one or the other and that's not how i remember it playing out in the games. I can't really explain in detail as this is a no spoilers section and i don't want to ruin anything for anyone who hasn't played the games and still plans to.

When you ask the game to import your World State, it doesn't give you the name (assuming you renamed it in the first place). A stupid oversight by BW, perhaps, but there it is. Instead, you have to check that the "date stamp" (date, time etc) of the WS is the same as the one you exported.

The Nathaniel/Yevhen quests in DA2 are mutually exclusive. You don't actually make a choice to this effect but, if Nathaniel is alive in your DA2 game, the Yevhen quest just doesn't happen.

It wasn't put in-game, because BW have plans for the Keep beyond DA:I.  They want to use it for future games and add-ons etc. Also, the theory is that if something in the Keep needs changing, it's easier to change the one online platform than it is to make separate patches or PC, XB1, XB360, PS3 and PS4.

But, yeah, I agree with you. I said this at the beginning and, although I like the idea of the Keep as a way to recreate old (buggy!) saves, I still think it should have been part of the game.

Anyway, that's the reason it isn't.

The easy one first: no, you can't delete the tiles. It has been suggested (several times!) because some people have the same Hero showing up more than once (for example, if they have separate saves for DA:O, DAO:A, Witch Hunt etc.). In the run up to the launch date, however, I guess there were just bigger and more pressing priorities.

The more difficult one: there seem to be many, many possible reasons why your heroes might not be showing up in the Keep (so-called "syncing"). It can depend, for example, on the browser you're using, the platform you're playing on,whether your Origin account is correctly linked up, or whether you've changed your PC settings. Go to the DA Keep forum, and there's a full FAQ covering the possible reasons and potential solutions. One of those might work, but there are still a lot of people (me included!) for whom syncing is still not working and who have one, some or all of their heroes still missing, even after trying everything in the FAQs.

On the plus side, we're assured the lack of our heroes in the Keep won't affect DA:I because the Warden doesn't appear and Hawke, who does, is customisable in-game. I can't confirm if that's true because the game isn't released here in dear ol' Blighty until Friday, but that's what we've been told.

Thank you for the response, not sure how you check the date stamp, the option to import was not even a real choice, just a quick auto load default world state, didn't see a date stamp on it. I'll start a fresh game and see if it shows it this time, if it doesn't then not sure what is going on.

Oh, that's cool. I'd still prefer my Warden to appear in the Keep, but whatever. Thanks for the answer.
