Me and my girlfriend use the same account and we each have our own world state. How do we make use of them for our respective play throughs?
Could I start a game with my world state uploaded and then let her upload a world state when she starts her game? Or would that cause problems with the game?

Yes, if my understanding is correct, you'll be fine.
When you hit the "Export" button, your World State goes into a kind of "buffer zone". You can only have one World State in there at a time so, when you fire up DA:I, that will be the only World State it will find.
Before your girlfriend plays, she should go into the Keep, load up her own World State and export that into the buffer zone. Yours will be deleted/overwritten (not from the Keep, just from the buffer zone!)
When she starts a new game in DA:I, her World State will now be the only one in the buffer, and so that will be the one that DA:I imports.
Thank you for the response, not sure how you check the date stamp, the option to import was not even a real choice, just a quick auto load default world state, didn't see a date stamp on it. I'll start a fresh game and see if it shows it this time, if it doesn't then not sure what is going on.
If you see only "default" and no date stamp, this means the world is not imported from the Keep - if you are on console, the most likely reason is that your console and Origin account are not linked; you can check this at https://dragonagekee...S/account-checkby clicking the black bar, and confirming your gamer tag is listed.
Other possible causes are anti-virus or VPN, if you are on PC.

I tried this and it told me my xbox live gamertag was linked to another origin account, problem is, i don't remember what that other account was. Is there away to unlink my gamertag from that previous account or how to find out which origin account my xbox live gamertag is linked to? Played a day and a half just for Leliana to tell me the warden she knew was female and died, mine was male and lived, that's how i found out my world states weren't loading. Looks like i will be spending the day trying to fix this.

In your settings you can see the email associated with your gamer tag, which would presumably be the same as the origin account.
Tried this, then reset the password for that account as i forgot it and when i tried logging in with the new password i got "Your email or password is incorrect please try again". Contacting a game advisor to see if they can help me fix this issue.
Edit: Got it solved, as i suspected the previous account my gamertag was linked to had an email i deleted long ago. So the advisor just switched emails and i got my linked account back. So glad i he fixed it for me, sure i got to start over most likely, but glad to have that all sorted out.
Hi guys. I made a character with an imported world save when it came out midnight last night. This morning I decided I didn't like the look of her anymore. I created a new world state in the keep, then proceeded to make a new character. It asks to important custom, I say yes, it sticks for 3-4 minutes and then says no custom found. On the keep all it says, even on a world state I've literally just made, "used for a new game in DA:I" Help?

OK, so do they both have to export and import only once? Or do they have to do it each time they load their respective games? I ask because I am playing two characters at once, and each has a different world state. I dont want my first character to have the second character's world state, if that makes sense.
Once it's in a game changing the exported ws doesnt do anything to it.
You could create 10 worldstates, export them one at a time for 10 saves and then go delete those ws and make 10 new ones and you would have no problems.
I Cant import my tapstry to my PS3. i hate it! i have play dragon age origins and dragon age 2 and i want my history in dragonagekeep
Someone know when Keep will be updated? I mean when they add Inqusition items, achivments to keep?
Curious to know this as well. Would be nice to see the choices that the keep logs for DAI. Any ETA at all?

I haven't run into any problems with my import so far. If the Keep wasn't importing properly we would have heard more commotion by now.
Hmm, didn't notice a time. Only a message with "Do you want to import Default World State?" followed by a link to the DA Keep. Well gonna keep on playing and see if there are any other changes that match my state.

The Hero of Ferelden statue appears in Redcliffe no matter what the state. And it is possible you misheard when leliana called The hero of Ferelden a "she". So yeah, don't think you should worry.
As noted by others, If you are shown text to "Import Default World State", it did not read from the Keep - on consoles, the most common reason for this is that your PSN account is linked to no Origin account, or to another Origin account. A successful import does not show the world state name, and should show a timestamp for when the world was exported.
You can confirm if this is the case by going to the Keep, and logging in - the "account check" page (https://dragonagekee...S/account-check) will list all accounts linked to your Origin email - clicking the black bar should show their exact names and not just the total count.

If your account was already linked, it may have been that your console could not connect to Origin for some reason - it should prompt you at the Start screen to log in if this is the case.
@Brian Mills: You know this could so easily have been solved (and still can!) by a very small summary of the world state after it is imported. Is that something being looked into?
i think i just experience some sort of import bug. Why cant we have some sort of summary screen when we get in game to verify everything is correct rather then have to listen to rumors. I just ran into Connor after 30 plus hours in the hinterland and he said Alistar was King! but that was NOT my choice in the Keep and i verified the import was correct and not a "default" state.
