One would hope in 15 years they have released at least 3 other games in the series. At which point I am sure they will have prepared for playing and importing from each game. Either by keeping the keep alive. Or having an alternative that assists in their future games. But...it's all speculation at this point. Because an asteroid could hit us in five years, rendering this all moot.

Question, how can Dragon Age Keep still be in Beta? I see that Inquisition "Coming Soon" but I've also seen many of it's specific Keep artwork popping around (Or are they fan made?). I'm confused.

I expect it to remain in Beta for quite sometime as they continue to tweaks no evolve the site.

You basically just create a world state on the keep. Name it if you want to differentiate. Click "export to DAI to basically set it as the active world state.

After you choose your race and class (as long as you're connected) it'll ask if you want to import. Choose yes. It imports and just verify the time matches the time in the keep on the export.

but more specifically, i wonder how my DAI stuff will get incorporated. i assume we'll have to manually put it in as well?  

 

And this: I understand that all DAI Keep stuff is "coming soon," yet some people have Keep pics of DAI characters - how can that be?

People have been getting the DAI pics from developer tweets and the Keep Twitch sessions.

If you're connected when playing DAI, the Devs have said your gameplay info will load automatically into the Keep. Hopefully that'll be reflected once the DAI tiles are added, but we will probably get an update at that point.

I have a problem. I've made a Dragon Age Keep Profile attached to the email which I use for my Gamertag. However, no matter how many times I try to import my Keep World Save onto Inquisition, it doesn't show up whenever I start a New Game. In-fact, whenever I log in, it says I don't have any personas beyond PC (which I haven't even played Dragon Age on; I'm on XBOX).

 

What do I do?

Are you positive it's the same email? Mine wasn't and I had no idea.

It doesn't ask you to import until you've chosen sex and class.

The email of my gamertag and that of my Dragon Age Keep are the same, I've checked, but I'm open to trying again. How didn't you know about your own email? And I've gotten to the sex and class thing multiple times, but the only thing there is the Default World Save (and I've renamed my own Age Save).

it is possible to have established a Gamertag and an Origin account with different email addresses.  And even to have established yet another account under yet another address to register DAI.

I just went through the process. And apparently, trying to link my XBOX Account with the Origin results in "This account is already connected to another Origin profile."

Which explains the problem.  Now you have to work with an EA Game Advisor to resolve your multiple accounts.

Not sure if this is really related to the keep or not, but what happened to being able to view your characters and the decisions they'd made? I haven't used these forums in forever, but I thought you could do that on here. I'm not talking about editing your choices like the keep, just viewing the progress you've made and the characters that you've uploaded.

I tried that as well. But now both accounts I've tried on Origin, with the newer and older emails, both say "Another Origin account is connected that XBOX Account". Neither of them have the gamertag.

They really can resolve this sort of problem but it takes several steps, and more than a little time.

So, I just finished my second playthrough, then fired up the Keep to create a new world state for my third run. Everything worked fine on the Keep, it says the export was successful. But when I went to start the new game, my only choice is for the default world state. I'm on XBox One. Same gamertag as the first two games (which worked flawlessly with the Keep). Same Origin account. I double checked, I'm online. I'm signed into XBL. I even made sure I was connected to the Dragon Age servers in case that makes a difference. I logged out and logged back in again at the Keep. Same with XBL. Turned the console off and on again. Still nothing. No import available via the Keep. Am I missing something?

That happened to me once. I turned everything off and gave it a few minutes and it fixed itself.

I'd try again in a few.

Dragon's Age keep is a very cool idea. Having not played the first two, which is a massive oversight on my part - one I fully intend to correct, I found it a little (a little?!?!?) confusing....

Dragon age keep says Craver survived but my game world on Keep has Betheny alive. Scything else seems to be correct except that detail.

The keep now seems to be working, it is allowing me to import a custom world state.
