No, and it will be some time before we get more information.

With the amount of applicants they probably have it surely will take quite some time...

I wander how they are going to test it, are they going to give the tester a demo of da:i and let you import your save into the demo.

that's what I was thinking as it would make the most sense, otherwise, how will those lucky enough to be chosen to test be able to test all aspects of the function

My impressions is that you would be testing the site itself, not QRing the output file to make sure it would load correctly in the game. I highly doubt they would send out demos of the game to thousands of people just to test this one tool.

Pretty much this. We'll see if the the flags actually tick when we check something off of the long list of items. It'll probably be more of a "hey, did we iron out that kink where it won't register flags sixty eight and one hundred and three if used together?"

My fear is that it'll list the flag as registered but not read it, that was my problem in DA2.

I get that, but won't they also need to check that it can actually be downloaded into the game flawlessly too? I  may be wrong so forgive me if I sound like a moron but I'm as tech-savy as a wet biscuit

They would need to test that as well, yes. But that is likely something they would do internally.

It sounds like the website itself will have a lot of integrated dependencies in how it asks questions. For instance, it might start off asking if you were a male or female in DA:O. If you said male, it wouldn't later on ask you if you romanced Allistair - that isn't possible, since he is a straight only romance. Similarly, if you said you were a dwarf or elf female, it wouldn't later ask you if you married Allistair, as that option is only possible if you were a human noble.

Things like this, where they want to make sure you aren't givne options to set up a totally illogical save file (say, for instance, you said you were both a elf and a dwarf, or you saved both Bethany and Carver) that wouldn't have been possible in the game, are what they are having people test more than likely. In addition to also the overall UI, how easy it is to use, if it throws up any system errors, etc. THAT'S what they will have you test.

You'd need a copy of the actual game on multiple systems to test if the output file works. And that's something they likely would not provide. You will be testing the website and the website alone.

I have another question if anyone knows the answer.

Can we share keep creations with other people so we can have the same start positions?
For example we logon to the Keep and say i would like user XXXXX start creation.
With their permission obviously.

I believe it was said that sharing playthroughs could be possible, but it's not a priority. So we may or may not get it.

Hey!  My Warden already *does* own the Tavern in Redcliffe (couldn't stand that coward Lloyd!) and Bella's running it.

Plus,  she may be a female Warden, but that didn't stop Morri from falling In_Love with her when given Flemeth's True Grimoire.  (Well, that and a little help from "Equal Love". :P )

Your warden can only temporary own it.  Bella owns it in the long run inevitably.

i know that  but bioware tell us that we can customize our historical world state  as much or as little  as we like then I like to know if the choice of  temporary own redcliffe tavern can still be done

Any word yet on a solution for offline players? I only follow BSN, so I don't know about anything that might have been said on facebook or twitter.
