Plus, I think the Keep is only intended to be used at the start of a game, so it's not like you can modify events as they happen in-game.

That is correct.

It would be rather neat if we could upload our game states to the Keep during the live game and share our 'world' events with our friends however!

Will the 'Connor' decision play factor at all in the Mage-Templar War? I have this feeling that our little buddy is going to end up wreaking some havoc if left alive in the first game. Opinions!

I hope so. Espeically if you factor in the Circle Tower option of dealing with things, killing him is definitely the 'monstrously evil' option. Helps make the choice a little greyer.

I would certainly like to see Connor again. I liked him and always wondered how he was doing after Origins.

Maybe some of the money we spent on DLC's and decisions to be made in them will be included in the Keep if they are to affect Thaedas in Inquisition.

The only time when I got to see something worth of notice was the appearance of Commander Dryden, Nathaniel's appearance, the mentioning of the Architect and Zevran's appearance in DA2 when, and extra stat points when I let Avernus live. Other than that all I remember were a lot of fire balls, sword swinging and someone dying.

I hope that we could import our save and then nitpick with the Keep.  You see, my Dwarven Noble died in  Dragon Age: Origins.  Unfortunately, the game doesn't allow you to import your decisions to Awakening and play as the Orlesian warden, so my dwarf noble gets cheated out of the Awakening and Witch Hunt decisions.

i wonder if they will do cross system..i guess this has been ask.. ^^ I start da2 on ps3, but couldn't enjoy dao on ps3, so i move dao to pc, and i also bought da2 for the pc down the line when it was on sale,, lol although i couldn't play it tell i had a better system, by that time I already play da2,,several times on ps3, and had fun with dao w mods, several times . ^^ down the line i started playing da2 on new laptop.

but..all the dlc is on the ps3 one =p, hehe

I wonder if keep will let me place dao pc into it. and then ps3 da2 save into it.. just maybe do some editing..to make it one^^ so i can be ready on the ps4,

forgive my typing =D

Has there been any update on when the Keep will be out? or when the beta will be released?

I want to be able to create my Warden and Hawke with the keep in the new Frostbite 3 engine.

I'd like that too, even if they don't end up appearing. It'd just be nice to know their appearance is there if they ever do. And it could be entertaining to try and make an older looking version of the character you've made before.

Though the amount of mods I made my Warden with could prove...problematic. She'd change with age, I guess. :S

I doubt we'll be able to recreate their faces in the Keep itself. Instead we might get a character creator application to remake the Warden and Hawke, whose face data is then sent to the Keep.

That's about my view on it as well.

I really hope that it will allow direct save imports, I would be fairly peeved if it didn't.

Not sure, but I think I read somewhere that it could be early 2014.

Yeah but EARLY 2014 is only five weeks away. I thought we would have heard something by now.

You'll hear something when there's something to hear - what's the rush?

Early 2014 could also be in 4 months.

Have we had any word about whether the keep experience will be different for people who've actually played the series?
I only bring this up because for people who have never played any of the games it could be a great way to introduce the characters and setting (which I feel is something Bioware were planning on doing?). But for people who've played they don't need this and it would be tiresome to go through everytime.

Does anyone know if DLC content will be cut off to those who don't have them.

That is actually a good question... I guess that the DLCs are linked to e-mail-adresses you used for PSN/Origin/whatever, so if you use that specific address for the Keep, you should have access to them, otherwise not.

Though this is merely my speculation.

This "Dragon Age Keep" thing is supposed to address the issue of importing saves on to next-gen platforms right? I mean, I don't think importing a save from 360 to another system works.

Also, when they say you can recreate your choices from the previous games in Keep, do they mean ALL the important choices - even the DLCs?. Because I have the Origins ultimate edition for the 360 as well as Legacy, Exiled Prince, and Mark of the Assassin for DA2. That's a lot of choices to cover. How would the system even "know" if you bought the DLCs?

Lastly, is there any difference between importing directly and using the keep?
(Aside from the "potential incidents due to importing bugs" reason and the "can't import save to next-gen" reason.)

I believe that the old importing system will be completely removed for DA:I, since the old system was too buggy. Something that they're trying to eradicate with the Keep.

Well, I would think most people who played the previous games did so because they were enjoying it.

that good point but let me ask you this if you put 100+ h in to  previous games to make the choices on how the quests both main and  side quests are  finish and then something like this come up and make all that time go down like  zombie
