I hope the next gen console is also in support of this; but it would make sense if you need a bioware account to store files also, but whatever it is that's bioware's job to figure out. As long as I get that info to a playstation, I wouldn't give a butt face's worth how they do it. But OMG this is a wonderful idea, I don't have to play both games again! I accidentally deleted mine and my favourite character accidentally chose Leliana(?) as her partner (first play through, mage). But this is AWESOME.

There was a possible fix for this for last Friday, but if you're still seeing this, it would appear not to have worked. Thanks for the update - I'll update our internal bug that is tracking this issue, but I don't think we'll have a new ETA for a fix in the immediate future.
Thanks Brian. The site loads fine, as long as I keep the URL added to a safe site filter within Sophos. However, just from looking at the web error console (I mainly use Firefox or Safari) there are quite a few errors returned due to HTML problems or other code e.g. missing parts of functions etc; this may be contributing to the error with Sophos and site risk. Would it be useful if I could pass these on to someone (not pasting on here, which may not be appropriate)?

How do I register for the beta?
You can register for the beta by visiting the Dragon Age Keep website and filling out a survey. You’ll need a valid EA/Origin account to sign in. If you have played one of our PC or console games online, you need to log in with the email address associated with your EA/Origin Account. If you don’t have an EA/Origin account, you can create one on the BioWare Social Network.
=====
Will that link get updated or are new accounts still permitted to be setup on the old site?
You can still create new accounts there. I would expect that link will remain up until the keep is launched.

You can either PM me the errors, and I can forward them on for you, or you could try emailing onlinecommunity@bioware.com, which should eventually end up at the same location.

^ At least you'll be super-familiar with all the choices you made in that import, though.
And playing the old games has to have some value beyond just using them for save imports, right? ![]()

Of course it does. I probably wouldn't have chosen my human noble, though. I always gravitate back to the Dalish. My perfect import is Queen Warden with Alistair (Without the Old God Baby via using Loghain) and Mage Hawke siding with the Templars. (There are a lot more smaller choices that affect the game, but I'm not gonna post them here, as there is a different thread dedicated for the more intricate details of what you would put in your keep.

I'd also like to get around to doing my Amell/Morrigan Romance and Pro-Templar Mage Hawke playthrough.
As it stands, the only saves I have and plan to replicate in the Keep are my Mahariel/Leliana "white knight" and "Doesn't want to get involved" Mage Hawke.

I've still got all my save games for DA since DA:O first came out but this will be fun, discover all outcomes. I haven't played either DA games in a long while but I still remember the journey of every one of my characters as if it were yesterday.

Still hoping Mass Effect makes something like this for the next game provided it's set post-3 and they call it "Mass Relay". Like, I'm so stupidly dead set on that name that I might start listing it as my #1 reason I want MENext to be a sequel.

Lol
Buying all the dlcs to get the perfect save then hearing about the keep
I wonder how future plot-centered dlcs will work out. It seems that dlc decisions will be in the Keep, which is available to you, so you don't even need to buy the dlc to access the choices in it. Aside from a few dlc items, and actually playing the missions, which aren't really problems since you can still see the dlc by just watching a gameplay video, people really won't miss the opportunity to create a better "save file"

I haven't played any DA games since I finished my only playthrough of DA2.
I would like to finally see that Dragon Age Keep working so I can decide if to replay bothe games or not...

I'll be playing them many more times, even if I can't carry the world states over. I love those games. ![]()

I have to admit, that is a cool name for it. But please, BioWare, include an option for offline players to use this too (DA's Keep and the hypothetical ME version).

I'm hella curious about the interface. If I had my wish, you'd be able to use an import to populate a save that you can then edit. If not, oh well. I kinda hope I've played through all the scenarios that are going to populate the Keep.
Part of me wishes I didn't know what choices mattered (even if I won't know to what extent they matter until I play), but on the other hand I can't ingore the benefit of being able to ensure, precisely, what is going to be the state save going into the game.

Why does the Keep make a difference to whether you play through DAO and DA2 again?

But you won't know what choices matter. Just because a choice exists in the Keep doesn't mean that it will be reflected in DAI, or any other future DA game.

I don't think knowing what saves are going into the save necessarily translates into knowing what choices will matter. One could have a sizable sidequest attached to it, another might have a one off dialogue mention. I can't imagine the foreknowledge would be too impactful.I'm hella curious about the interface. Hearing about the Keep changed my mind about getting the DAI PS 3 version to the PS 4 version. I must admit I want to see the graphics on the PS 4 but I'm also relieved about not losing the saves I created from the previous 2 games, I can just rebuild them. I like to rp my characters so I'm eager to customize exactly what I want before I start a new game.

Depends how extensive the "rebuilding" is, but I'm optimistic about this actually.

I like the idea of changing things for each save and changing up the game some instead, because I have the tendency to make the same decisions in my playthroughs and I'm curious how different decisions will affect the game.
