Okay, this sucker is 92 pages long. Can we get a separate forum to discuss DA Keep issues/questions/suggestions? So that commonly asked questions don't get repeated over and over and over and over?

That said, I have a question that I'm sure has been asked, but I can't find it: Will we be able to customize the appearance of our Wardens/Hawkes? I know we won't be using an in-engine editor for that purpose. Keep is a website. I get that. But what about a more simplified, stylized appearance editor, something akin to the splash screens of DA2? (Like the image below)

That way, even if they don't physically show up in a future game, we may be able to see their likeness represented in in-game books or scrolls or something (or perhaps see them physically, but in silhouette or something).

No. Fernando said in the interview that "There is no way to visually modify your appearance. It's not a character creator or something along those lines."

That's fair enough. The FAQ says you can fill in as much or as little as you want, so I hope they put in loads of decisions too.

If the choices are not filled in, I would assume that it would refer to the default for those choices should there be a need to reference them in the game/future game(s).

In current DA terms if there is an "equivalent" .MOR file it can be modified provided such a tool is created for the new engine.

I'm pretty sure that affirms that the Warden and Hawke will not show up in person. If we could modify their appearances, that would likely indicate that they'd physically show up.

^ They could have their faces and distinguishing body parts hidden or covered, but... that just seems a bit silly.

Bioware must have something in mind and the two former protagonists are clearly important to the plot somehow (they disappeared!), so I imagine they'll be involved in DA:I, even if not by directly appearing to the player.

This is super cool.  I've been wanting to purchase a new PC in anticipation for DA:I, but have been hesitant 'cause I'm clueless when it comes to transferring things over.  Now I can just go ahead.

Not necessarily. Just because there isn't an option to use the CC for Warden/Hawke in the Keep that doesn't mean we won't be able to do so in the game itself. Either way, asking us to customize our Warden/Hawke pretty much ruins any surprise factor.

I'm hoping neither of them appear ever again, just so we can avoid all that mess. Similarly with the Inquisitor for DA4.

I had no really expectations that they would be present...other than occasional random reference discussions.

Me neither,

but to be honest, I have no problem with them being in the game with random faces, either. If Bioware feel, those two are important for the story, I say, let them be in the game. As "normal" NPCs. DA:O was years ago in game time (so they became older and changed) and in real time (so I barely remember how my wardens looked). Even if I would remember, as long as those 2 have reasons to be there and don't act like complete morons (and I have faith in Bioware, that they wouldn't), I am totally fine with seeing their faces and acting on their own.

So if they are not in the game, that's perfectly fine, but if Bioware finds a legitimate way to integrate them, that could actually be pretty awesome.

Yeah, either way I'm fine.  Imported face doesn't matter.  Sounds like this keep will allow me to setup the game based on my previous experiences.  Male Warden warrior follows Morrigan through the mirror...female Hawk rogue supports mages (secretly wishes option 3 to abandon the city and let them kill each other existed).

Hm... this makes me wonder if they can/will/should include any sort of "head canon" options in the Keep. Options that might not have been feasible to implement in the actual games but could still allow us to craft our world in a more detailed way. I don't necessarily mean the really involved head canons that people have, but something simple like this one posted by Helios. The game explicitly does not allow for a neutral choice, or really allow you to have no involvement in an issue you might not really care about. By itself I can see how it might be true to life (we can't always avoid problems, sometimes we MUST choose). But at the same time you are not allowed to express such feelings while still reluctantly making the choice.

That said, I expect that the Keep might just be a record of things that happened and their results, rather than actual character crafting; which we must do in the actual games.

I will have to worldstates for that, one where my Rogue Hawke supports Mages and another where my Mage Hawke supports Templars :D

I support this idea.  I like the idea of my Warden enduring in Thedas in some form (Though I'm still not thrilled by the idea of an actualy in person appearance).

I generally like the idea that the book in DA2 is some sort of chronicle of notables started by Leliana that each of our PCs will be written into.

To any of the devs that have posted here - are there any updates re. Sophos web security and dragonagekeep.com? Unless the site is added to a filter, I still get a "High Risk Website blocked" notice or an SSL connection error, depending on the browser. Thanks

Welp. While the Sophos person I spoke to tried very hard to answer my questions, s/he was not able to say why the site was flagged in the first place... nor how we could fix the problem. All I could do was submit the site for a re-review, something that we've already done a couple times. I resubmitted, but apparently it's still being flagged.  :(

I know we've been a bit quiet recently, but we'll have a bunch more info 'really soon'.  And we'll definitely be able to answer more specific questions as we get closer to launch.

I hope there will be some news about a way for players with offline consoles to use the Keep.  ^_^

Is the keep like the Mass Effect 2 comic thingy for PS3 or is it just a list of decisions you click yes, no, etc?

Can I save multiple worlds on one console without having to go back online or can I only save one world state at a time?

I swear, I had Alistair stay on my side, marry Anora didn't kill Logahain but Logahain Sacrifice himself to the Dragon on Xbox 360 maybe a bug but can I have that in the Keep?

You guys remember if your origins email is the one they send invites to if you get them? It's my husband's email since he controls our Origins account and so I just wanted to make sure.
