I have a pretty good internet connection but I will be getting Inquisition for my Xbox 360 as my laptop will not be able to handle it, yet my DA:O and DA ][ saves are on said laptop. I hope there will be a way to make a master save using the keep + a flash drive to input my world states into the Xbox 360, since I cannot afford Xbox Live.

You don't need Xbox Live, and there is no way to transfer your DAO/DA2 saves into Inquisition.

The Keep is on the internet. You go to the website on a computer/smartphone/tablet and fill it out.

That worldstate is saved to your EA account online.

When you start Inquisition, you can sign into your EA account and it will retrieve your saved Keep worldstates from the internet.

You do not need Xbox Live or PSN for this - just an internet connection.

I think there's still a lot of confusion about how this all works, so hopefully BW explain things clearly once the game gets closer to launch!

Or just let people try it and see how it works :D The best way, I guess.

I can completely understand the frustration of being left behind as gaming progresses and improves. As others have pointed out, you do have options to play DAI and use the keep. There is just no way to make sure everyone is 100% satisfied and included and I can't fault a company for keeping up with modern technology.

I suggest taking a break from the forums for a bit. Maybe come back after E3 and see what kind of new info we have. Until Bioware announces the Keep, the requirements, and possibilities there really isn't any reason to get worked up over it.

Thanks, I may just do that take a break from the forums, did you know I been researching Inquisition since FEB 2012. So, I am kinda of burned out on Inquisition anyways.

I need to take a break, Thankfully my Drakengard 3 comes out on May 20th so I will not even be on the net when I get Drakengard 3, see when I get me an awesome game I am usually off the internet until I finish the game.

Then later this summer is Soul Sacrifice Delta, Freedom Wars, Castlewolfensiten, also Tales of Xillia 2 also Watch Dogs, Then I am goinf to the movies to see Age of Extinction which marks my 30th Anniversary of being with Transformers.

Then I am going to see X-Men Days of Future Past & Godzilla, then Watch Falling Skies Season 4.

So, thankfully I will be super busy this summer to the point I am hoping it will keep me off the Forums & Net, Mainly the only reason I am even on here is to be a Time Killer until I get My Drakengard 3.

For now I may go watch some of my DVDs being my Babylon 5 collection or do me a Transformers Marathon watching every TF Series I have or do me some gaming on my Playstation 2.

For now I just need to step away from the Forums, hence the reason I been flaring up is a Sign I am BURNED OUT from researching Inquisition since FEB 2012.

Like previous people say all will be revealed @ E3

I have calmed down some now, I have done additional research on DK so I have a better understanding on how it works, if it works this way then I am cool with DK working like this it seems both easy & accessible.

1. You can use the DK APP across Tablets, Laptops, PCs

2. Doesn't matter about your Internet Connection any Internet Speed is Useable on the Keep Site.

3. You would make a Keep World State then the Keep Site would save this World State

4. You would sign into Inquisition using your EA/Bioware Origins Account when you boot up your console then your Console will read from the Dragon's Keep Site then it would Import & Implement your Keep World State into Inquisition.

5. Will work the same regardless of your Console or PC even if you played 360 Games or PC Games previous saves will not work into Inquisition.

6. This was made to be a Future deal even all the way up to say Dragon Age 8 no matter the console.

Anyways, I am done on Inquisition, News is almost to a crawl. See, I am just going to play my Drakengard 3. then wait for E3, I am sure like others have said previously that Bioware will reveal more on Inquisition & the Dragon's Keep.

For now, Since nothing is going on with Inquisition I am going to take a break. & I am going to be doing some old-school RETRO Gaming.

Kill some time, Get ready for Falling Skies, Watch some awesome movies this summer, Play Watch Dogs.

I have also decided to keep my previous PS3 Dragon Age games, even though previous saves do not work, I still like to replay these games.

So for now my Friends I am officially on break 2012 I have been following Inquisition.

Cool news on Mass Effect Trilogy HD but the question remains will Bioware make any TWEAKS to the HD Version & will the HD version have & include ALL DLC CONTENT across ALL 3 GAMES.

Will they add in New Endings, Cutscenes, fix key issues or will it be exactly the SAME.

What I want to know is that if we're going to meet Hawke or our Warden's at some point how will we be able to customise their appearances? It'd be a huge kick in the balls if we're only allowed the default look.

While the extent of the Warden and Hawke's involvement in DA:I is still unknown, it was confirmed in an interview that the Keep will not have a character creator for our past heroes.

However if your play Inquisition on Default it has been confirmed that the Warden Origins will be a DEFAULT ELF, & Default Hawke is a Mage who sided with the Mages but it isn't known what Gender Hawke will be Male or Female.

But keep in mind they will just be an NPC who you will meet during the Story, during a key moments. Such as Flemeth, or other reoccurring NPCs from the past.

Love Leliana's New Look, will be most interesting to see the inter-action between her & Cassandra since they are both  Seekers.

Curious to see how much authority the Inquisition Order will have, cant wait to see the Opening Sequence about him Being a Sole Survivor, So I cant wait to learn more on this amazing game.

Kudos to Bioware for taking their time, & making Inquisition an awesome experience. Cant wait for E3.

When was this confirmed?

When was this confirmed?

David Gaider said this about the default Warden:

We have a default canon, which applies if you import nothing. So if someone comes to DAI with no import of previous games, they get a certain set of previous decisions being presumed-- and those tend to be ones that don't promise future content. The Warden of DAO is dead, because why would someone who's importing no save (and is possibly a brand new player) care about their Warden still being alive and involved in the plot? There is no OGB, because why would that person care about Morrigan having a child from some game they possibly never even played?

As for things which don't involve future content, like the sex and race of the Warden, yes-- those we just decided on at some point. So the default Warden who died was a female Dalish elf.

So the default is the Matyr preset from DA2. Can't remember where it was confirmed that Default!Hawke is a mage who sided with the mages. I suspect that, given the dead Dalish elf is female, Default!Hawke may be male.

I see. My bad. I thought that you said that an imported warden would have preset features. Yeah, I knew about the default one.

No worries. We have no idea at this point if we're going to actually see our Wardens and Hawkes. (Obviously we won't be seeing Default!Warden. Unless she's replaced by Default!Orlesian, about whom we know nothing.)

I dont like Hawke being Mage in default and my reason behind that is I like Bethany more than Carver.

Yeah but at least you don't have to follow that canon. Bioware games are about making your own story.

Keep is software yes but it is web service. The keep will be in 3 parts.

First part will be a client which allows the user to communicate with the saves state. The user in this aspect is the player. This client is accessible from browsers probably.

Second part if the server backend which contains all the data and exposes the services which the keep can offers.

Thirdly is the game client that manages to download all of these save states and process them in the game. This client is accessible through the platform that plays the game.

Crazy thing is that, I wonder how much of a pain it is to support all of these platforms. Code across the clients is portable if they use something like phonegap but the game client that downloads all of this software might be different.

No more difficult than for any other website with user-generated content though? (Maybe I'm selling the DAKeep team short here - if they gave me a beta invite to go have a look though.....?)

Calm down now, you're getting a little over-excited. I'm sure you're right; Bioware don't want you revealing all the secret information you apparently know despite none of it having been made public anywhere. Why don't you do what you keep saying you're going to do, and take a little break from the forums to play all of the many games and TV shows that you seem to have waiting for you? Come back in September, the Dragon Age Keep will probably be available by then, and we can all see whether or not you'll be able to transfer world states onto your PS3.

[ EDIT: Whatnow12012 seems to have removed all his posts, so this comment no longer makes sense. Oh well. ]

I usually like to pick races that go against any expectations the setting has. The oddest sort of unique misfit heh...=P
