One question I have on the keep that I've not seen (mainly as I haven't read most of the thread), You can build your world state, possibly multiple world states, but can you rebuild your faces? i.e. will there be tools in the keep to remake your Warden and Hawke or as close a possible on the new engine?

Would suck to have them turn up in cameo's/cutscenes and them only be a default look. I supoose the warden could just be wearing full Grey Warden armour and helm covering the face, but that's a cop out imo.

I've asked this before. As you see to my avatar - they've uploaded the look of the characters before Online with no issue. Unless I am BLISSFULLY ignorant to the gaming world. I cannot fathom why, if the Warden and Hawke do make a cameo, they can't take that load from your previous games.

I am missing something clearly.

Because the engine in DA:I is not the same as in DA:O. You can't just transfer faces like that. Look at how they couldn't transfer faces from ME2-ME3 properly. DA:O to DA:I will be like that, but much much worse.

It depends if they will be willing to put assets into re-drawing all the old face parts in the new engine. It's the only way it could work. Assuming they could use those assets on you Inquisitors face, then they aren't causing themselves too much extra work. I hope this is the case. My wardens are dear to my heart. My Hawke's less so, just never engaged with the Hawke character as much as the Warden.

I think whether they are in the game or not at the start we will make Warden and Hawke faces and many people will be on the forums after character creation saying its proof that they are in the game. Than after they beat the game will whine about Bioware teasing them.  But I think they will allow us to remake our Warden and Hawke faces and they will be the right gender with Warden being both right Gender and Race depending on our choices in the Keep.

I don't think so, dragon age keep allow us to just practically rebuild every save we had.

I think I saw somewhere they said there will not be a character creation tool as part of the keep.

Though I don't remember where that was, so consider it hearsay I guess.

I recall that as well, from a dev post I believe, though I wouldn't know where to find it.

I think it might be from this video about the DA Keep, but I don't feel like watching for 30 minutes to confirm.

There's no character creator in the Keep. It was indeed confirmed in the 'What is the Dragon Age Keep?' video linked above. This has been discussed in the thread several times before.

Origins/DA2 and Inquisition run on different engines. Literally not a single thing from Origins was transferred over to the new game - they've had to rebuild everything from scratch, from day one. All of the returning characters (Morrigan, Leliana, Varric, Cassandra) have new faces that were re-created in the new engine. There is no way to transfer an appearance from the older games.

Within the Keep any stats available on the ratio of known players to modders?

I can't imagine why there would be. Why would the Keep need to record whether or not you used mods? BioWare have already stated that it will only allow for decisions that can be made in the vanilla game, not choices that require mods to achieve.

I did not say "used mods".  I said modder.  If you stated it in your questionaire, and I don't see why you wouldn't, the person(s) who sent out the invites would obviously know.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. I still don't know why BioWare would make any such stats available to us, though.

The video does nice work  answering some of the questions that seem to keep being asking here on the forums

Sure, I'll fill you in if I get the opportunity to test it. But  I also won't be allow to say anything ^_^ People would need to most likely and will have to agree to a stay quite seal record thing. Where they are not allow to speak about it to non beta tester or post anything up. So I would have to fill you in after it's lifted ^^

Hawke had a voice (so we actually know how Hawke sounds) but his/her appearance could vary from the standard/default choices, the Warden was silent and had varied appearances and genders. A workable solution would be to have them appear in Inquisition, but seen from a third person perspective to your Inquisitor. That would allow individual gamers to insert their personal head canon versions into the mix, insure that beloved characters factored in once again and give Bioware a safe out; without having to bend over backwards to finagle the calculations necessary to make previous file transfer character creations magically snap into place.

best solution for our Warden is death. People will complain if there is no voice, people will complain the voice was wrong from how they imagine, people will complain no matter how our Warden is brought to our attention in Inquisition. If our Warden did Dark Ritual than let our Warden die a Heros death trying to bring proper order to the Grey Wardens amongst this chaos. I see death being the best solution for surviving PC Wardens than the complaining of what they did with the Warden will be easier to quiet down :D.

Now for Hawke, we only need customization there since Hawke has a solid voice male or female. Whether it will be them teasing us with creating more than the Inquisitor when we start up the game.

Still can't wait for The Keep to open up for more people, I bet maybe the people who tested it out have a better idea whats going to happen with our previous characters we played as lol.
