Yeah, back when I played Silver. I could on Gold, but I don't see the point. I equip what I have. If it's level 4, I'll use it. If it's level 1, I'll use it.

A good player will do well regardless of what equipment they're using.

I barely ever get enough consumables in packs, and the few times I used them, the group wiped, so I finally stopped using consumables at all.

If I get consumables, its for.stuff I'd never use like smg bonuses.

Now I only use em on platinum.

I like to use low-level equipment when levelling single-digit level characters through Silver.  I want the group to at least know that I came to play.

Now I have 255 of each I am reluctant to rocket, gel, thermal clip or use  Ops Survival packs.

If need be I will buy a recruit pack to replace a used one.

I am also now playing Silver as it does not drain my consumables, unlike Gold (& Platinum).

Its sad....... OCD??

Pugging with gold, I almost never equip any consumables. Unless everyone else but me has some on it aint happening (excluding when I want to laugh as all bow before me/feels like the class needs it (claymoar bf3 soldier with incendiary rounds)). I still carry them to glory, but I almost never use temporary enhancers under any condition in any video games... I know, im odd.

playing with BSN'ers, I always equip consumable, otherwise I would feel like a dick, and be ineffective by comparison

Most of the time, Never in plat though, I always use consumables for that. Ocasionally gold, when I'm in the groove.

I only go naked if no one in the lobby equips anything. In all instances, the match is always LOL as they fall down and bleed out. However it also extends the match time to dumb timings (think upwards of 30 min depending on map).

Off host, i go amp 1, cyclonic/cells 1, ammo 1 or 2. With constant resupplies of level 1 and 2 equipment though jumbo packs, i don't really care if i lose those

I used to play all the time without using any equipment at all, but then I noticed that I stocked up on so much stuff that even if I used them every single match I would never be able to deplete them.

So these days I use them all the time.

Often, especially when dropped into a match in progress - on some kits it makes little difference, on other kits it can make you pretty weak.
