So dose this confirm that Cassandra, Varric, and Vivienne are NOT romanceable?

Without clicking on that link, I'd say it's more likely they meant to say that BioWare has not yet said which characters can be romanced, but I still won't be surprised if none of these three are made available. There are six other companions who have yet to be officially revealed (even if we all know who most of them are already).

I wouldn't think so. It's just naturally too early for them to want to spoil who will be romanceable. I don't know about the other two, but I would be shocked if they didn't have Cassandra available to be romanced.

You mean, a statement means literally the thing it says it means?

Actually, thinking back to before DA2 released, I don't think they ever did confirm most of the romances but just let people discover it themselves.

All of them? For some reason, I only remember them telling about Fenris. Or maybe it was the fact that everyone was bi was what they never officially confirmed and just let people discover?

I hope they announce them soon so the forum can move on from "[Insert random person] for LI!!!!!"
I hate to disappoint, but I don't think the forums ever really move on from that.

You're making the same mistake the author of the article presumably made.Ailith430 wrote...

If the characters haven't been announced, then we have not yet seen those characters (and therefore the characters we have seen are not romance options).
If they haven't announced which characters can be romanced, then any of the characters who have already been announced could still be romance options (they simply haven't announced romances yet).
The reason this thread exists is valid. The author of the article done goofed if what they truly meant to say was that BioWare simply hasn't announced romance options yet. They wrote a statement (which you then repeated) that doesn't actually say what they meant to say.

Because she has been asked for for so long, and BioWare usually likes to have an attractive female to dangle before male gamers in the hope that they will bite (Morrigan, Isabela).
