Will an experienced player do better with a GI or a Juggernaught?

FOO kits are very accessible, but "best" is very subjective. I'm pretty sure we aren't talking about accessibility here.

I see where your coming from, but the jugg is EASY, the GI is objectively better if you learn how to play the game. Ease of use is a factor but it doesn't make a class the best.

TGI has much better damage output, is better at reviving teammates, and literally cannot die when played correctly. Jugg can get overwhelmed, has pretty bad damage output unless you want to sacrifice all the health that makes him as OP as he is, and can't really kite enemies fast enough to do a device disable by himself in some situations.

But let's just agree that both are better than the GI.

well, this is just me, but that is the dumbest thing I have heard all day.

sure, the TGI has a better output on ARs, but speccd for damage, the GI wins on shotguns, and as for snipers?
(no headshot bonus, cloaked, all specced for damage)

Gi/Jav /Gi:  5951.33 (sniper amp 3, Sniper gear V, HVB)
TGi/Jav: 4444.18  (sniper amp 3, Sniper gear V, HVB)

Gi/BW: 3233.3
TGi/BW: 2655.93

And you lose even more if you use the Geth scanner instead of the Rail amp....

Ill take the Gi any day.

I think you got it backwards, man. The Juggernaut is more popular, but the GI puts out the most damage. I think that's the only measurement BSN cares about.

Anyway, I actually don't see GI's that often. I see more Juggernauts, which reinforces the popularity thing.

Because speed is everything right? By this logic, all the volus other than the engineer are horrible characters despite having a move that gives shields and damage reduction to anyone in a 7 meter radius, just because of poor damage output.

I'd say when talking about which character is best, survivability plays a huge factor. I think chances of extraction should be what makes a character good, not how fast you can solo in 50+ tries.

So I would also put on-host Krogaurd and AIU over the GI.

pugs dont pick the juggernaut because its fun and exciting, they pick the juggernaut becausenthey know they have a better chance to extract with it
