Being able to explore vast and detailed maps with lots of mysteries and lore as a dual wield warrior.

This hands down, I missed duel wielding in Dragon Age 2 and also a good variety of armours and weapons.

Making my Inquisitor a Machiavellian master strategist, capable of manipulating social and political webs with the same deftness that he commands his hand-built armies around, organising them into a cataclysmic fight with an equally threatening enemy. I want to lie, to backstab, to wheedle and steal, to pick routes to ambush, castles to besiege, war fronts to break, and I want to threats to the Inquisition run in fear before me. I want that to be necessary too.

Also, morally complex and heartwrenching decisions, m'kay? That final mission of DA2 was tough, as was the end of Awakening.

And who, are you, the proud Lord said? That I must bow so low?

To Tywin Lannister Thedas would be a dream come true. I think I would file a divorce so I could marry DA:I and have its children.

Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know. In a coat of gold or a coat of red,a lion still has claws,

My hope is that it will have great plot, great romances, exciting battles, and that it will win RPG of the Year!

That Ferelden will have a born or appointed heir... Still recovering from the Blight 10 years later, the last thing it needs is another civil war when the current monarch(s) die.

And that the game will be at least as awesome as DAO was. :)

That it is the best game I have ever played in terms of story. Seriously, the combat can be just as is was in DA:O or DA2, the visuals can go backwards 10 years for all I care, but at long as the story is great I'm pretty much satisfied.

I hope that i will be able to make something equivalent of a Martial Mage, a Mage in heavy armor AND robes(hello Witch King), that uses melee as a complement to his other abilities.

So, in general, i would like customization for my character that is deep both gear wise, as in what i can wear and look like, and gamestyle wise, as in, being able to play an Arcane Warrior or something like that again.

I would also like it very much if we were able to select the Qunari(Kossith?) Race for our character.

I always liked the idea of the controversial Kossith Mage Arcane Warrior, big, armored, with an overcoat/robe, and a large staff/glaive, that makes you ponder if he's gonna hack you or blast you first. :wizard:

Save Thedas!!

I actually want the fans/gamers to enjoy the game. I like Bioware and don't really like them being flamed so much, but hey, when you deserve it, you deserve it. But they usually get flamed even more than that, so I hope this game somewhat reduces the flaming :P

That it will spell the further success of and become a predecessor to a slew of excellent games in the Dragon Age universe. For me, the Dragon Age universe is probably my favorite franchise since i started playing games on the NES when i was a wee spore..

That it will be the first open game(by that I mean modern "open" gaming) I've played that actually finds a perfect balance of great story/characters and a vast/fun world to explore. I've never played an open game that had both. I think the closest was probably Red Dead Redemption but I wouldn't call the story/characters "great".

I don't expect DA:I to be huge like Skyrim but based on what I've seen in videos, it's safe to assume you'll see a bunch of new regions and in those regions, they're very big and open in structure. That's what I'm assuming and all I'm asking for. Bioware's storytelling/characters with a massive open structure has all the ingredients to be a masterpiece. Between Witcher 3 and DA:I, you might see RPGs pushed forward for the next generation of gaming. It's long overdue with other genres borrowing so much from RPGs these days.

that it tops DA:O in all regards :) and that they have enough time for polishing and maybe giving us some more features (like - well, they returned the races and dropped the backgrounds, they bring those back (and adapt them for the races...maybe make them playable (like origin stories))

greetings LAX
ps: oh and it being possible to permanently end the chantries suppremacy in the game (no more circle, no more chantry controlled templars and freedom for mages - without having to burn the chantry down and destroying the templars and seekers!)

NOTE: This is the "short"-list (i have many more hopes =])

Well, considering they've already put in nearly everything I asked for in some way, I just want them to make it so I can have all of my companions' hotbars on the screen at once and have a TON of hotkeys.

Also I want either the Qunari guy or Varric to be an LI plz.

Since I mainly play as a mage, I would like to see a combination of 3 different games. I want the look of the equipment from Kingdoms of Amalur, the abilities from Dragon's Dogma (especially the Sorcerer spells), and the summoning abilities from Elder Scrolls Oblivion/Skyrim. This would be "my precious".

This kind of depends on what you believed they've promised and how you interpret fulfillment.
