Kind of feels like people hanging around the forums more than a year before release are almost 100% sure they will buy it. There are always 'cautious' people and people who will troll the forums because they feel burned for whatever reason when it comes to Bioware's previous games, but I think a solid 95% of the people here will pre-order or buy it within a week of release.
Me, I'll probably pre-order during summer next year unless they give us some time-limited signature/collector's edition earlier than that. I'll pre order it for sure however. No way in hell am I not getting this game.
How likely are you to buy DAI ?

I'll buy it. The only question being will I buy it for the 360 or the One. It depends on this new Dragon Age Keep thing and how well they implement the saves. Either way, I will be pre-ording the best possible edition of it.

I really want to get the game, but after SimCity I decided I didn't want to give EA any more money. So now I'm stuck between supporting BioWare (YAY!) and supporting EA (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!).
I... am thoroughly ambivalent. I want to give BW money for it, but I want none of that money to get to EA. HALP

Probably pre-order, as with all my recent BioWare games. Not sure which version though.

I'll pre-order. On release day, I will be outside my game store at nine o'clock with a danish in one hand and a coffee in the other, waiting for my sweet delicious game. (Unless I decide to go with an online purchase, but I'll probably get a boxed copy.)

I will pre-order I am sure, and probably have to call in dead to work the day I get as I will have used up my sick time to play. That being said I would rather base my own opinions on the game rather than someone else as what I like is not always what someone else may like.

I'm going to buy it surely, maybe even a CE if it's the case and there's some nice bonus.
Yet I'm not buying any damned DLC unless the game proves being quite awesome.

After DA2 and ME3 fiascoes (for me), definitively I want to vote with my wallet, meaning that I will wait for reviews in specific sites I trust in and only buy below 25$. Only with excedenly good reviews I will consider otherwise.
The plan is that, if the game pleases me enough, I can always reward the devs after somehow (buying DCLs, collectors editions or additionally copies of the game) as I did with The Witcher 2. If the game is below my expectations, i wont feel bad for paying 60$ for a experience I didnt like.

I like what I've heard so far, so with the recent announcements about exploration, an open world and playable races back it's a definite pre-order. I usually don't pre-order until a month or so before the release date though.
As for any collector/special editions: that depends on what they contain. I may go for them if I like the bonus content, but if the price is too high or there is questionable day 1 DLC content like with Mass Effect 3 I'll probably stick with the regular edition.

I will get it and then go dark with no internet or anything else that could possibly spoil the game. The inescapable rage over the ME3 endings diminished my overall enjoyment of that game and even if DAI is a mess, I will face it without spoilers be it positive or negative reaction to the game.
