 Hi there !

The french team of Dragon Age Saga, and Mass Effect Saga is proud to present the video released at GamesCom, in the BioWare community lounge. It has been revealed by Jonathan Perry - Cinematic Designer - and the lovely Jessica Merizan. Hope you'll enjoy it, don't hesitate to share and like it :)

Nugs aren't just cute like everybody supposes
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses
And what's with all the carrots?
What to do they need such good eyesight for anyway?!
Nugs! Nugs! It must be nugs!

(Or maybe dwarves....)

I wasn't aware rabbits were subterreanian creatures.

Well, they do live in holes.

This looks as staged as the Dovakhiin vs. Dragon Fight from the Skyrim trailers.

Looking forward to seeing how the world actually interacts though.

Thank you for the video. I appreciate it.

I wonder if BioWare will release an HD version of this.

Look more scripted than actual interactive world, no doubt about graphic though.

I keep wondering if these High Dragon encounters are random. What are the chances of an level 5 player defeating one?

The same chances we will see a member of the Qun wearing pink fluffy slippers

Pretty much my feeling too . This feels squarely aimed at the people who complain that 'BioWare worlds are deader than a mummified sea cucumber'.

We'll have to be patient before we see real in-game footage.

It is a proof of concept video to show how alive the DAI world can look and feel. Don't expect this particular scene to play out in the game, but expect that other scripted events or mao environments will act more like an alive biotop rather than just stage accessoirs.

Stoopid little dragon doesn't recognize a free breakfast when he sees it.

(I never noticed those fox like creatures in any of the videos before.)

Those are not nugs, they chose to live on the surface and shame their ancestors nugs. They´re casteless, their mere footprints pollute the Stone. They do not exist.

I remember a Dragon Swooping Down (sry Alistair) and pulling a giant into the air, dropping it from high up to kill it.

That can't happen in the actual game.
And that was a "gameplay" trailer :)

Take it with a grain of salt, but the graphics and the creatures looks great.

That trailer did give a decent 'feel' for the gameworld though. I wonder if the same will apply to DA:I. I'm happy enough if the game has actual 'flight' behaviour for grazers like gazelles, and 'fight or flight' for predators or combative alpha male grazers. For once it would be nice to have wolves, lions etc. avoid heavily armed and armoured dudes, especially if they're much higher level.

:) I had to treat the video, it was such a lame before -_-. I'm glad you enjoyed. You were at the presentation ? Sorry for the mess in the corridor, we didn't betray the reputation of the French people x). It was our very first GamesCom and we hope to be out there next year for some news about Dragon Age and Mass Effect. What about you?

For all, I'm glad you enjoyed the video as well - and quite surprised to see all those comments about the nugs ! -. Once again, I'm very sorry for the poor quality of the video, it has been taken directly on the screen. Don't hesitate to comment or contact us, and meet the French community :)
