Agreed. If I lived close and knew I would have gone.

you can level from 10-50 basically just doing flashpoints/warzones and class quests. I've leveled many characters while avoiding the BS side quests.

Roll a sorcerer or Operative healer, you will get many instaqueues as there are too many dps around. I wouldnt play tank unless you are comfortable with the game.

I barely do FPs so Warzones is pretty much out of the question. I'm currently playing tank as a Sith Juggernaut.

Well thats what is fun about the game, I would just play a different game if all you're doing is scavenger hunt quests.

Based on past experience, one may play solo, avoid PvP, and skip Ops and WZ's if they wish. I only ran some FP's alone to see the stories; most were below my Lvl for much XP, but I only really wanted the stories.

But based on reading other posts, the most enjoyment seems to had with co-op play with a small group or Guild.

It's almost 2 years since pre-launch. That's when I started playing. I've done everything, PvP, PvE, Ops, and FPs... I predominantly play with my guild. There are some really good stories in the mission lines. I have really enjoyed the events like the Gree Event, Rakoul and now the Bounties. The upcoming 2.4 patch looks good.

Right now I play a SinTank, DPS Ops and a DPS Mara. The Mara is the smash build which is insanely easy but high DPS which is fun.

Based on the little bit of reading on Classes, I have some work ahead of me to respec my three 50's: Inquisitor, Trooper Gunner, and Merc Arsenal. While I would like to see the IA and Jedi Knight stories more completely, I doubt I shall be able to progress them to this level due to my inability to Run & Gun, if I use that term correctly.

Still, lots of stuff to do to reach 55, complete stories, see new space missions, and as a subscriber, the expansion is now part of the experience. So I shall see if I still have the record for Revives fairly soon.

I liked the expansion. Makeb is a fun planet. The new Czerka dailies are good too. Have you seen the 4x4 PvP Arena coming?

I quite like how PvP oriented that live action trailer is. Hope it is some reflection of things to come. As it is now, PvP has been very much on backseat, with Cash Shop items and PvE content getting all the devving love.

Not interested in any PvP at all. The Silver Lining for me is that the crowds and areas of interest will be elsewhere.

Since I have to respect my solo PvE Inquisitor, I will ask here: Lightning, Madness, or Hybrid for the new patches? Looking for build suggestions; seem to have lost my past ones.

Never mind; went with Lightning. It appears to have better defenses, and I want enemies dead on command; not over time.

By the by, has anyone read any of The Old Republic novels? Are they any good? Besides Revan, I mean, which pretty much destroys him.

Been having some connection troubles since returning; still working on possible solutions.

Being able to repec my characters has been a big help; will have to look into all this pseudo-currency stuff (eg; Cartel Coins, Commendations, Legacy, etc) to upgrade my gear, perks, etc

But one thing that has not changed; the TOR forumites seem far more cantankerous, entitled, and whiney than some found here, and that is saying a lot. They are almost as bad as those that post on YouTube, and reportedly on Bethesda boards....

How old is your PC? Perhaps you could benefit from an update, depending on whether or not you play a lot of PC games.:D

In that case you can probably juice it a bit more. Still, bear in mind XP support ends in 2014.
