So to spice things up, I'll ask.
Who are your favorite villains from the game?

Are we talking class stories? If yes, then it is Darth Baras. I love the relationship between him and the Sith Warrior. I also like that he is cunning and smart instead of just beeing raw power. Using all the tricks ot the trade to get ahead.

So I was inspired after jogging my memory about my characters in this thread and by the upcoming expansion to reinstall and actually played for the first time in over a year.
I feel so lost with the reworked skill trees, new abilities and how a ton of existing ones have been changed and/or moved around to being exclusive to a single spec etc. I'm probably terribad now.

I found out I can solo Battle for Ilum and other flashpoints with my Sentinal and Doc.
Provided I don't get attacked by two platinum bosses at the same time >_>
Gonna have to redo it at level 60, but this gives me hope of actually getting HK-51.

I had much the same thing happen. I created a brand new Imperial Agent and am now headed to Valhalla, all chrome and shiny. It seemed easier than trying to figure out what happened to all my old characters. Besides apparently we're getting 12x xp?

Only for class missions, but it's still nice. I've gotten three characters up to 60, but I'm not sure I have to will to get any more to that point.

What was the huge giant robot thingy on one of the planets I can't recall the name of? Anyway there was some walkways and paths you had to walk around on and you walked right past this robot but on no account should you engage it as it's 'a world boss or something? But the game lets you walk right past and under it and it won't notice you...

that's World Boss, aka WB. DO NOT face it or engage it, it is Level 60. it can kill you instantly in one shot if you're low level. it takes 15-50 Level 60 players to bring it down.

Guessing it's the Coruscant WB from the walkways and being one of the first planets you've visited?

Shadow of Revan is great. Though it has the dangerous Bioware signs of getting too big. A few Revan fanboys hate it.
I'm not a Revan fanboy and I can but shake my head at the story.

lol, don't mean to start anything but Baras is a fool, with no redeemable features. His plan is laughable and even Bond villains are asking him to confirm his kills.
Jadus and Baras should've been switched. Jadus is a proper Sith and would've been a worthy adversary of the Warrior. Baras on the other hand would've played to the themes of Sith being overinflated idiots that the agent story had perfectly, in that he's an overinflated idiot. And that's not even a fat joke.
Darth Thanaton is better in every way.
Other notable villains:
Darth Malgus- he really should've more prominent.
Sel-Makor- the dark side entity created by the conflict between Voss and Gormak.
Maybe I'm forgetting some but not many stood out to me.

Have they ever added a way to replay the story? It's been so long since I played that I've forgotten a lot of the details about my operative's story. Would hate to reroll a new one though.

I disagree. First off Baras is introduced early and lasts the entire questline. He is not strong with the force, and that is why i like him. His lack of force power does not stop him from going as high as the Dark Council. He is intelligent, and he knows how to use his assests, you included. His biggest fault in the game is betraying us, and letting Quinn live. Because we had no plan to do the same, atleast not dialogue wise. And Quinn found loyalty in us. Though he needed Quinn to spy on us. He wanted the pre-emptive strike, but he underestimated us and it became his undoing. And unlike a bond villain he does not tell us his plan from the get go.
My problem with Darth Thanaton is that he is introduced to late in the questline to have the same impact as Baras. He is without a doubt a strong force user, capable with the lightsaber and good at Sith Politics. The power struggle between him and the Inquisitor is amazing when on screen, but its to little to late.
Jadus is not a proper sith, he is a horrible human beeing. To get more into what a proper Sith and Jedi is like we have to go into every little detail. Lets just say that both the Sith Code and Jedi Code is stupid. Gray is the only thing that works. See Luke Skywalker or Lightside Sith Warrior for a good example.
Thats my thoughts on it anyway.

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite in regards to Baras being strong in the Force. It relates a bit to him being a fat bastard. He's not a capable lightsaber combatant though.I disagree. like i have said many times before, Revan and Jedi Exile within TOR is facepalm worry both in reasoning and story quality. I have no true problem with TOR at all.

Skavak - All of the best qualities of Handsome Jack is injected into this guy.
Jadus - Fooled both Imperial Intelligence & The Dark Council into thinking he was dead, while he'd use some naive terrorist group to help fulfill his goal of changing the Empire to his desires.
Darth Tormen - He was interesting as he wasn't the kind of Sith who were ready to dispatch useful tools or allies .. Unless they betray him first.
Baras - I think I preferred him better in those comics, where he was levelheaded and diplomatic to a degree where it was hard to tell his true intentions. But his voice actor is amazing so..

When he tortures the prisoner in the prologue it seems like he has to get really angry to actually conjure up the lightning. That is just my take on it, i guess its never stated in the questline wether he is weak or not.
