When he tortures the prisoner in the prologue it seems like he has to get really angry to actually conjure up the lightning. That is just my take on it, i gues its never stated in the questline wether he is weak or not.

I remember reading how his weight prevented him from being good with a lightsaber because he became lazy after the war, so he focused more on force power.

I'm not a Revan fanboy and I can but shake my head at the story.

Oh no there are some people who have some genuine actual complaints about it. Most of the actual complaints (why the **** are the empire and republic teaming up again being an obvious one. Ziost definitely handled that business better.) are drowned out by all the "how dare you be mean to mah protagonist!"

When it has been done so many times it is. They might as well have signed another peace treaty at this point. Ziost remedied that a little bit but it's still annoying.

Well I like it loads. Just don't play full dark or light. You need a mix for it to be good. Though that seems to be true for all the storylines i've played so far.

Yup. Had a blast playing as a Sith Warrior in such a fashion, who had the Empire's best interest at heart, but disagreed with some methods and other character's vision on how it should be obtained.

Plus having Jedi expecting you to be nothing but evil, and having you spare a few characters and actually act in a civilized manner who sometimes simply wanted to talk rather than fight, is amusing as hell. Trolling at its finest!

Never finished the game though, should get back to it at some point.

They're applying a new patch today that'll introduce the Togruta as a playable race. I would provide a link but the forums are down, probably because of the update.

As a free playing player, is there any guide on what to buy from the ingame store worthwhile long term for gameplay?

Yeah I loved doing that. Getting mail from that one Jedi on Belsavis was heart warming as hell.

I would strongly suggest just picking up pieces of armor from GTN every 10 levels or so. It's far more effective than using basic comms which you can use for loads of cash later on.

I love using those basic comms. Now I dont have to waste money on mods for strong gear.

What do you recommend those comms for then?

Oh no they are good for mods. I mean just equipment in general. They are useful for a little cheat. If you go to the highest level section then buy and open the lock boxes the items can be transferred between characters. Then you can esanshally give another character loads of money to buy legacy upgrades.

The key to wasting little money is wearing an adaptative set and using comms to buy armoring/mods/enhancements. You can get cheap adaptative sets or pieces on GTN or free ones in heroics/flashpoints. You can always use outfit designer to alter your look afterwards.

Speaking of cheats, you can transfer basic comms between characters, did you know that? Plus, you can always send money via email.

Hmm I was more referring to unlockables as I know for certain they love to paywall even features like.. Hide your mask.. Wtf :/

I'm okay with spending 100$

But I don't enjoy 15$ monthlies, not anymore. So I'm looking to games where they do pay to win models that allow you to buy a lot of the stuff they lock behind a subscription in advance.

About the outfit designer... after adding gear to one of the outfit tabs and saving it, do you need to keep that gear around in your inventory for it to be actually visible in the created outfit or can you stuff it in your ship's storage and it'll still work?

You can't with money if your preferred. Never knew about the comms thing.

All those can be bought with credits off GTN too. All my characters have hide helms that I bought off there. Many cartel items are on there. Expensive as **** though.

If you store it in your ship storage, it'll still work. However, if you delete it, I think you're screwed.

It's a similar system. You buy lockboxes (I think I bought the purple ones that cost between 25 -30 comms) and store them in your legacy storage. Another character picks them up and returns them to the vendor.

Adaptive is all I use these days.

I'm mostly spending money on cartel armor sets. Got Mando clan armor for my BH, Rascal for my Smuggler and Reaver for my SW and SI.

It's random. Anything between 2000 and 16000 from what i've seen. There is also inheritance/birthright kits which are like a big you lose.

I dont really get that logic. In the end wether you go with sub or not, you still end up using those 100$.

And you get alot more benefits as a sub.
