Meh, if the Empire wasn't doomed anyway I'd agree. As it is I leave the reforms to Marr the only character who actually manages to GSD without having magical protag powers or immediately betraying the Empire.

Yeah pretty much. Marr just easily flows into the role while everyone else is bickering while Satele at least what i've seen from Consular and some of Knight she is utterly useless.

Ehhh... this feels so overused and... cheap.

 

The Empire doesn't matter. At best it is a tool to gain power, to be discarded when no longer needed or it becomes a liability. The only class who should care about the Empire is IA, and then only about its citizens and the order and law it provides. The Empire's Sith should pretty much be purged by all accounts.

 

And the fact that the story is better.

Yeah Darth Marr is my favorite by far. They actually had another deep and interesting Sith on the Dark Council in the book Fatal Alliance, but oddly he is absent from the game. His name was Darth Howl and he was a fair and sporting Sith, he liked to hunt animals with a blaster. Really bad*** and I was disappointed when he wasn't in the game (though none of the characters in that book, barring Satele, was in the game).

The Inquisitor story actually makes more sense for a lightsided character. It gives

Darth Thanaton an added reason for wanting you dead, it really piles on to his claims of you breaking tradition. It also gives an added layer as to why some of the moffs want to back you.

One thing that is really funny was the fact that the book had Satele Shan's apprentice in it as one of the main characters and yet he is not so much as even mentioned or acknowledged in SWTOR XD
