I made a new Inquisitor last night, and she's awesome, but she's human, and I kinda want to make every species eventually, so picking Pureblood would be smarter (my species so far are Human Male Consular, Cyborg Female Agent, Zabrak Male Warrior, ... so for variety, I should be going Pureblood Female Inquisitor...

 

Not making any more characters past this Inquisitor though, for now. Not until I get a bunch more species unlocks (though gameplay or $). Or maybe I should just go for variety whenever possible, and any extra characters past the 8 class characters can be whatever I like? So conflicted...

Yes. Togruta have their head gear hidden. 

 

On a side note, I'm pretty salty about Togruta. I had decided to buy cartel coins so that I could unlock Togruta because 600 coins is pretty much $6, but then I went to the site and found out that they only sell cartel coins in quantities of $5, $10, $20 and $40. So I'd have to buy the $5 twice or the $10 once. I mean really, they couldn't be bothered to sell them in $1 increments? I see now that they did it so that people with leftovers or not quite enough CC would have to buy the $5 worth at minimum, it's a really dirty move on their part.

Yes. Togruta have their head gear hidden.

Alternatively, you could use a security key and you get 100 CC monthly. If you're a subscriber you get another 500 on top.

I could, but that'd be stupid on my part because I'm free to play and I'd be paying 15 dollars for the monthly sub for something that I wasn't willing to pay more than $7 for and I'd just be better off buying the $10 pack.

The 100 CC doesn't require you to be a subscriber afaik, only to have a security key (you can easily download the app on your phone).

I've got the physical one that came with the Collector's Edition that I've never used, the reason I never used it was because I was afraid of it going bad and then having to deal with the terrible customer support (maybe they are better now, hopefully). Unfortunately, that method would take 6 months and I'd have filled out my two character spaces and finished their respective stories by then.

Not really a fan of the Togruta addition. I don't mind the species on its own but I know the reason people wouldn't shut up about it is they want their very own Ahsoka Tano knockoff. And that whole scene I'm not a fan of either.

I think you can easily work around that, just as much as you can be a Chiss Jedi -- The backstory alludes to that the Voss has encountered the Jedi before.

Almost done with the smuggler story. Its been loads of fun. Much beter than the jedi knight imo.

Also unlike the JK, each companion is actually likeable.

The jedi knight story sadly suffers from the fact that it's just to.... "default". It's simply a good vs. evil story, where every Sith grabs the villain & psycho ball and runs with it, while you're the white knight saving the day.

 

BOOOORING!

 

Especially compared to the variety the other classes give you.

In that case I suggest doing the same I did/doing. Go for consular, then bounty hunter, then smuggler that way the gameplay stays fresh and you get the legacy buff bonuses too.

Jedi Counselor weren't the most fun class to play, mostly because you spend 80% of the time inside a room with Padawans asking them about their relationship with their father while trying your best to avoid dick analogies.

Jedi Consular was much better though - I liked the mystery and story of the Force that was weaved into the plot. The Consular's dialogue was quite well realized and loved the voice acting.

The Smuggler is downright fun. Fun antagonist, great cast, and generally fun dialogue

The Republic suffers from the more default stories. I can't speak for the consular, but the Trooper and Knight were basically about finding super weapons during the first few planets and then save the galaxy from the galactic war that happens afterwards.

 

The Smuggler has barely any connection to the war, which was a nice change. The story feels Cowboy Bebop.

Stupid spelling.

Yeah the class was really good they had a brilliant dry sense of humor and some genuinely difficult choices at times it also had Qyzen one of the better companions bioware has done.

I'm planning to start a Consular soon, but I first want to get my hands on an armor set that would be perfect for the class.

 

Temple Guard Armor, but its sadly so overpriced on the GTN. :(
