Trolling those two jedi who are protecting Jaesa was the best.

SW: "Of the two of us, it's clear that I'm the more serene, the more grounded. The better Jedi".

All that was needed would have been Vette in the back going "OH SNAP!", and it would have been comedy gold.

Have to agree with House regarding the SW. While you are Baras' lapdog, the game still allows you the option to play a more proactive role during your missions, wherein you often have the option of adhering to the mind of association instead of simply displaying a destructive role throughout. While perhaps not that meaningful in the grand scheme of things, they are still aspects that help shape the SW as an individual--someone competent, who possesses the ability to process the scenario he / she faces and potentially turn it to his favor in different ways, sometimes quite hilarious ones with the Jedi.

Just as much as you can play the mindless puppet, you can also show signs of being a reformer, climbing the power ladder to ultimately throw down the competitive Sith Lords currently in power.

I haven't of course finished the SW story yet, so I don't know how well Chapter 3 will handle things and what kind of climax it will have, but I would have loved the option to properly create solid alliances throughout the whole journey (instead of simply a person or two) and then ultimately put them into play against Baras. I hope Chapter 3 will have this kind of scenario in some form.

I actually did sub yesterday, and it has indeed helped with leveling quite significantly. The SW is my first playthrough, and I've played the game with quite wide schedules (started with it back in 2013). Aim to finish the SW and start with the rest.

Wait till you play the Inquisitor story.

And sorry if I've inadvertently spoiled anything while discussing how the stories compare.

I made my Knight in a beta testing weekend and got to Taris (the Imp equivalent would be Balmorra). Picked up the game a few months before it went F2P and remade my Knight and an Inquisitor. Got the Knight to around 30 and the Inquisitor to 24 before I lost interest and unsubbed. Picked it up again last year, played a good 10-12 levels on my Knight as preferred before the lack of medprobes got to me and I subbed again. Finished the Knight, the Inquisitor and started an Agent and BH side by side which I ran to max doing every quest (you want to talk about being sick of Imperials, try that). Then the first 12xp came around and I did the other 4 and replayed my favorites (Knight, Inquisitor, Agent). Good thing too, otherwise I might've never played all the stories. Right now I'm just redoing some of them and figuring out how I want to play Fallen Empire. Some of the things that will be happening are... troublesome to say the least.

It's the worst feeling when you realize you'll need somewhere around 20-30 million credits to get all the gear you'd want from the GTN. Primary black and black/black dye modules, y u gotta be so expensive? Not to mention some of the chestpieces I'd want like Satele's and the Sensuous Dress Top.

Hell yes. I remember last year when it was in the 300-400k range and I couldn't get it (I wasn't and still aren't very rich in that game) but I kept hoping someone would sell it for less. Now? 3-4 mil. FML Should've just bit the bullet and ground for a bit and got it.

The Inquisitor has some of the best lines in TOR.

SI: I want you to sing:
Guy: Wait, are you serious <goes on and sings in a low quiet tone>
Guy: Sorry im a lil nervous
SI: Sing Louder! (Shoots Lighting)

"There's nothing like an afternoon of slaughtering Jedi to really make one feel alive!"

"Not long ago I was but a slave... now I have a fleet behind me."

If you think this is bad, you should meet my other personality.

I personally prefer the term, "differently rational."

Yes, yes, I know how it works by now. You send me on a dangerous and elaborate suicide mission that I can't possibly survive, only for me to humiliate you when I do. Have I got it about right?

Trollquisitor is best Inquisitor! It is known!

lol @ Inquisitor lines. Gonna have to roll that one then at some point.

No worries. I remain mostly unspoiled as far as things goes. :)

Based on what little i've seen of SI they have the best lines ever. When come across the Padawan on the Black talon is glorious.

All that trolling from the SI aside... you can actually play him with enormous depth. Ex slave that will do everything to never be put down again, or see others brought down to the low he came from. "Slave" being a major berserk button.

I actually prefer the light side Inquisitor. The way he can trash talk all those social darwinist Sith and Jedi who think he is evil by default... epic.

I love delivering the verbal light side smackdown on Alderaan to that jerkass Jedi with a stick up his ass.

"I have more light than you'll ever have... and I love"

Or telling Zash to go to hell with her sugarcoated dark side lesson in the temple:

"Like the Sith Code says: 'My chains are broken' I can choose my own path."

Grey Jedi actually fits the LS Inquistor better than the ususal SIth or Jedi "rolemodels", in my opinion. Marr and the LS Inq have a rather bro-y work relationship. Working for the best of the empire, without the card carrying villain or holier than you antics that usualy make Sith and Jedi rather ineffectiv.

I just wished the premise of act 2+3 was just better. Act 1 was enjoyable but outside the funny lines and certain moments with companions, the purpose and premsie of act2+3 is just :/ along with a very meh villain. Me and Chris have debated that part alot too.

Eh. The Light Side Inquisitor still uses the Dark Side of the Force, and only the Dark Side of the Force, because for Imperial characters, Light Side means not crazy. It means strengthening the Empire and thinking rationally like you said, where as an actual Grey or plain Jedi would use the Light Side of the Force and subscribe to those ideals.

And Grey Jedi, I'm sort of meh on. While I think it's cool to have grey morality, in Star Wars, in the long run it's actually a pretty bad thing. Using the Dark Side weakens your connection to the Light, literally, and vice versa. The only one who's actually been able to do it without any adverse side effects is Revan, and he's the definition of a Mary Sue with a case of Special Snowflake Syndrome.

Yeah, you're right. I just used the name "Grey Jedi" because I don't know another definition for somebody like the LS Inq or Warrior. They certainly are not the usual run-of-the-mill TOR Sith who took a sip from the dark side and bought a one way ticket to crazy town.

What makes it worse is that Marr would have kept the joint operation even longer to fight the biggest threat they have but Saresh is such a idiot she would rather continue to fight the Empire instead of helping the empire fight the true threat.

I think I'm on Covenant, but the next time I sub I could easily switch servers. Leveling is easy as hell now, I've not played that much in a year, so most of the story will be fresh.
