So I guess you guys are still pretending Marr isn't going to be dead soon.

What about the Trooper and the bounty hunter class? What do you guys think.of those?
Haven't played either but trooper is one of the more hated ones and for the BH a lot of people dislike how you are shackled to the Empire. Also Skadge.

Trooper - Meh... the guy/girl is basically the 'MURICA! stereotype IN SPACE! To much patriotism for my taste.
Bounty Hunter - The story is rather simple. You're a hunter. Go hunt things. But I like the class nonetheless because of the companions (with the exception of Skadge, of course. Who likes that douche anyway?) and the male voice. Dude sounds like he's chewing gravel. Combined with the Lemmy Kilmister memorial beard that makes for a badass hunter.
Oooooh and I get to count to three like Calo Nord before blasting some annoying Rodian! What's not to like?

Knights of the Fallen Empire is going to hit you like a sack of bricks.

Probably. Marr is to awesome to live through that.

Yeah but it's over the top and fun. The best way to play trooper I think is to alternate between insane patriotism and sociopath solider... though maybe alternate is the wrong word in some cases. And you're forgetting Jaxo. Never forget Jaxo.

You got a source? I think Marr is vastly overrated but I haven't heard anything as to this.

I forgot her the second she was space debris.

The main reason he's so popular is because the only other point of comparison is Satele. A character so mediocre bioware started throwing her into scenes to say like 1 line and do nothing else.
Marr is also the only reason why the Empire survived post Ilum and why it was able to become a threat to the Republic again, he's also a competent sith who is not lol kill and power! He also does not care for power struggles or the xenophobic attitude of the council. It's really no surprise he is very popular with fans.
In a sense, he's like Malgus minus his thirst for the throne. (who was also popular and his Ilum flashpoint caused alot of controversy)

Not that he needs the throne or emperor title anyway. Marr is running the Empire in all but name.

Yeah Marr is awesome. I don't always agree with him but respect him nonetheless.
I was fine with Ilum Malgus. At least he was an actual threat unlike Foundry Revan. Though it loses a lot of impact on the rep side.

It's more to do with being forced to fight Malgus even tho you where able to say he was right. As a threat tho, Malgus was very good.

He also has something Vitiate never had. True respect from his soldiers and citizens.

Funny, she was fine last I checked.
I had a lot more space debris though.

Meh. I don't mind Satele. Every time she's onscreen I try to imagine the trailer version (where she's hot).
Though on a more serious note, it's not really an either/or. You can be unimpressed with both.

This only matters if the Empire itself matters. Which is.... ehhh.

While that is true it would be kinda out of character for at least my LS Wrath to do. I suppose it differs per person.

Yes. Just saying that the difference in quality between them is immense.
If Shan didn't need a man to save her every single dam time, I would probably not mind the characters horrible incompetence at leading.

Huh never noticed that. I'm guessing it's further in the Knight line.

Nope, her two fights with Malgus before the cold war, she was almost killed twice by him, but was always saved by a man (her master when the sith took back Korriban and Jace on Alderaan when Malgus's face got heavily injured)

Ahh I get it. The two intro cinematics.

Well in the first trailer she was still just a Padawan. But did you miss the part in the second one where she owned three Sith before engaging Malgus, stopping his lightsaber with her bare hands then blasting him into a mountain and collapsing that mountain on him afterwards? Jace's distraction doesn't detract from any of that. Malgus seems to be dominating her in lightsaber combat but that just outlines the class differences. Malgus is a Warrior, while Satele is a consular. The former has the advantage with the lightsaber, the latter with the Force.
Satele is the reason Malgus wears that respirator. And if you bring in the trailers, Satele does more badass things than Marr ever does, since we see him fight precisely one time and he's pretty lackluster. He's supposed to be a tank but Revan comes after me fairly often every time I do the fight. Meanwhile Satele boosts my **** like you wouldn't believe. I know who's more valuable to me in that fight.
The problem with Satele is that she's underused sure, but it's also a different situation from Marr. Marr runs the Empire, Satele answers to Saresh. They started a good thing at the end of the Pub Revan storyline where it seemed like Satele was standing up to Saresh. Honestly they should've followed that up a bit more before blowing everything up in Fallen Empire. But oh well.

Um re-watch Hope. Shan was only able to do that because Jace saved her. Malgus would have killed her had Jace not saved her as she was struggling to keep back Malgus saber with her hands.
That's also just pure gameplay. The only difference that is demanded between a Guardian/Warrior and a Counselor/Sorcerer is job description. A Knight defends the galaxy, Guardians fighting on the frontlines and Sentinels rooting out the Order's enemies. A Counselor protects the Order's history and preserves its knowledge of the Force. The rest is gameplay.
