"The 7 others not freed from cryo" doesn't actually sound too illogical, actually - aside from 'how did they all get in cryo' (or maybe they could each have their own explainations, like weird Force meditations and other stasis).

TBH the Zakuul Empire stuff, so far, sounds like it could go in whatever way:

1)The end of SWTOR, practically

2)Something to continue a single-class-character story forever

3)Something temporary that can be put back into 'normal mode' (pre-KOTFE mode) if it turns out to be a failure

Really I just hope they have the sense to end gracefully. As in, they know when the game's run its course and make plans for a satisfying and fitting conclusion.

-Fallen Empire defeated and erased (there's no mention of them in later accounts). Unless they're just Sith under another name.

-Sith Empire defeated and/or absorbed, or maybe even independent still but back in the Unknown Regions and no longer a threat, with the Sith themselves all but destroyed until the next time they rise.

-Chiss Ascendancy withdrawn without a trace.

-Republic restored and back to normal.

Well they have around 600 years of breathing room so they should be fine for a bit.

Remember, Bioware has freedom to do what ever they want now, hence what they did at Ziost. The only thing Bioware will most likely not contradict is the Darth Bane stuff and connections to the movies. Everything else is now fare game.

Figuring out my own exit cues for classes that won't be the Outlander is kind of fun.

My sorcerer is already preparing to go to ground. He's scouring all sources of knowledge he can find for what Sith rituals or powers might be able to put him on equal footing with Vitiate or at least render him immortal without the cost Vitiate incurred. Ultimately he might decide to do what Vitiate himself did during the Great Hyperspace War and just go into hiding, ready to rise again when the time is right.

My agent is basically doing the non-Force version of the above, only she's actually trying to save the Empire and its people from behind the scenes. Sith are not generally not included in that reasoning so it's a fine line indeed. If **** hits the fan, she'll calculate and gather intelligence on the best way to respond before revealing herself.

My warrior will have to be captured or killed.

My BH just hunts things. So he can be away on a long job. Or, since he's a Chiss there might be business for him to take care of back in the Ascendancy (even though he's exiled).

I've already thought of a capture for my Knight prior to the Fallen Empire hitting that's dependent on his backstory as well. The consular could be away searching for him. Smuggler and Trooper might get stuck with it, the former just because it's a smuggler in carbonite. His droid eyes won't be affected I don't think.

All of this subject to change once we find out what the story is of course.

That scares the **** out of me. ****** Disney. Won't be content till everything is ruined.

I don't think Ziost is a contradiction though. I remember reading a post NJO series where a character travels to Ziost and everything's screwed up and twisted and it's a blasted landscape. So I think everything's still in line.

But the potential for douchebaggery is frightening.

Edit: It was Legacy of the Force- Ben Skywalker was sent there by Jacen Solo as part of his training.

Bioware with absolute freedom is a scary thing. Swtor shows that Bioware do great things when under heavy restrictions.

There's a difference between Ziost being in shambles and Ziost being a dead planet. No life, no force. It is a void, far worse then a wound.

Finishing Makeb on the Hunter -- Recently got a hold of Mandalore the Preserver's set (Canderous) so my Hunter will be wearing that get up; Already have the pants on. I like to roleplay that she found his remains, much like how it has been with previous Mandalores, specifically Canderous, whose armour and helmet belonged to that of Mandalore the Ultimate before Revan slew him in the war.

I know Wookiepedia says it's the same ritual as Nathema but I'm calling bullshit on that. Force characters can still use the Force on the world afterwards (and are completely fine whereas the effects of Nathema on visiting Force users are well documented) and that's too much to handwave as gameplay/story segregation. Furthermore droids still work on Ziost, whereas they didn't on Nathema, and in the case of the daily with the holodrid even survived the event. Monoliths also weren't on Nathema whereas they are on Ziost. That may be because Vitiate didn't know how to make them yet but their presence still argues against the Nathema ritual hypothesis- they are the products of Sith alchemy and thus by definition are of the dark side. However Nathema is completely devoid of the Force, light or dark. I don't think Monoliths would be there, even if Vitiate did know how to make them. Finally how it's activated and the effects are different. You can argue Vitiate doesn't need 8000 Sith to bind anymore but the ritual on Nathema when activated, instantly snuffed out all life on the world. On Ziost we clearly see a wave of destruction rushing across the planet.

In short, they may be similar, but they're not the same. Ziost will never be a tourist spot but it's not the hell Nathema is

You're talking about daily missions, not story content. Monoliths where also said to have been made on Ziost by Vitate. If these missions we can do where story and not daily I would agree with you but daily missions are not story content. Hell you can fight Raven as a weekly for gear.

Daily missions are story content. They just don't reset (obviously). Or are you going to claim all the missions on Ilum, Oricon, (some of) Rishi and Yavin never happened? Yes we fight Revan weekly, but we also fought him for real as far as lore is concerned.

And for the underlined, source?

The difference between the ones on the planets you mentioned is they where story quest then became dailys AFTER you complete the story. The ZIost dailys on the other hand you never did before for the story on Ziost. They are daily missions for the sake of daily missions. After the final story quest you never need to do anything on ZIost story wise.

As for the creation of them, it's stated right in-game.

Sorry, thought you meant Monoliths were made on Nathema. My point was there were none on Nathema and their presence on Ziost after the ritual implies the planet is not devoid of the Force the way Nathema was.

As for daily missions, it doesn't matter if nothing tells you to go do them. Even if you never do them, it's implied someone does. Droids on Ziost prove it's not the same thing.

Forged Alliances is fun!

Kinda annoyed that it was spread out over several months, but doing it all at once is fun!

I actually want to grind these flashpoints for some of the rewards.

Just saw a leak of the companion list.

I need new pants. I need to clean my room. I need to replace everything.

I'm not built to withstand hype of this magnitude.
