@Hawke Doesn't really matter who you take on planets. Companion interactions are mostly only on class missions and are few. I myself used Vette for the first half of Nar Shaddaa, then Quinn. I liked this mix, both got screen time and some action.

Playing as the Sith Warrior as well and came to the point where I saw my own lightside reflection in the Oasis mission on Taatoine. My reflection said that I should change to the light, but I don't want my character to change so easily. Is there a point somewhere in the story that could make sense for my chaaracter to go light, like some betrayal or jedi showing why light is better, etc?
It happens something you mentioned, but i won't say exactly what with the Sith Warrior plot. Sith Inquisitor and Imperial Agent get really good parts of the story where it shows why Jedi are no better than Sith. Also about the Oasis reflection... i played that part twice, the reflection is always the opposite of the path your character is taking.
Even if you play Light path Sith the reflection will be dark and will call you pathetic, weak and asking you why do you refuse to embrace the darkness and etc.

Why didn't they use Nolan North to voice the male Smuggler? That would've fit more than the JC
Can't say I was disappointed too much so far with the femmé VA (although male agent sounds cool...then again, nah, femmé toons all the way for me).
Other than that: I went and did an excursion to the 'pub-side of things as Commando. Please do tell that dark side keeps being this hilarious - dat minefield-run!

Although on the Trooper I loved the whole Havoc Squad and there is only her and Jorgan. LOL

Started a second Sith Inquisitor but this time female. Love her snark. XD Some of the classes have the best moments.

Seeing how I am following right in their foot-steps on my Trooper, I somewhat missed the "Havoc, y u no take me along?!"-option. Regardless, as I mentioned, I found being evil as 'pub to be rather entertaining, so far.

I love that game.
Will you try any other class?

In general? I had an Operative, Marauder and the mentioned Commando sitting at level 12 up to now. Was thinking of filling up toon-slots with two more pub-classes, Shadow and maybe Gunslinger later down the line.
For now, I wanted to continue leveling my 34 'tech-main, however.

I've played through the SW, SI and Operative and have them at 55. My Merc is a level 46 healer. Cute story. In all I have 10 characters, 6 at 50 or above, two in the 30s and two just starting out.

The problem with this game was the lack of freedom. It felt too much linear. I felt like a vacuum having to go through each zone to clean them. Zone A; Clean !! next zone B !!
You aren't wrong with that observation, to be had. The game does pretty much follow the MMO-formula of clearing one area suited for a certain level-range after another.
The dark/light side system does depart from that somewhat, however, and there is some divergent gameplay-sections resulting from that here and there, best show-cased in the first flashpoint-instance for either faction. Not to nag, but it's this, if nothing else that tells me that those involved with TOR's development would feel right at home with making a good off-line RPG experience.

Now, when I start it up the first time after letting the patcher do its thing, I simply get a black screen which I cannot even tab out of, leaving me to reboot the system.
The short while I could run it before, it loaded quick as it got, and hardware-wise nothing's changed beyond a new hard drive. Some looking around didn't quite yield the same issue having shown up somewhere else.
Short of running the rather lengthy download yet again, does anyone have a potential idea as to what the problem would be and how to fix it?
figured it out myself. Comodo was quite thorough there, it seems.

Because Kath Soucie and her male counterpart are surprisingly on-par with that of Nolan North -- The problem I see with having Nolan North voicing the Smuggler is that he'll end up sounding and behaving, exactly like Nathan Drake. What he does best is improv and immerse himself into the performance but many of his characters act the same way. There's nothing wrong with the current voices, so live and let live.AresKeith wrote...
