Like I said, I don't have a problem with pragmatic DS choices.

Its just that there are so few of them and alot of those "hurr hurr Imma rape your mind with the force" kinds of DS choices.

Not hurr at all.

You need to get the person to talk.

The Empire has shown that a little torture goes a long way.

The Empire really does have a lot of strong points. It's too bad it's irredeemably evil right?...

That philosophy though...

I don't think they are irredeemable at all.

They just need to get rid of the xenophobic attitude, get rid of the slavery and stop trying to conquer the entire galaxy because power.

Oh and get rid of every incompetent sith and imperial officer.

Other than that they are cool.

That was in-character reasoning though...

You know someone who is basically Atris as **** but less stupid.

Dark side is most fun to play.I am not some kinda psycho who likes to inflict suffering or something

or people. But Jedi Knight story needs to be redone.Boooooring.Same is Consular.

My favorites are Sith Warrior and Inquisitor.

I wish we really get some tough choices to make.No happy endings.More dark and realistic view on Star Wars.

Like in the Witcher. Are those we protect really worth it?

Like in Fith Element:google War and tell me:is this humanity of yours worth saving??

I on the other hand am having a blast with the JK storyline.

Question though: Do I have to flirt with Kira to become a potential love interest? See, I kinda want to roleplay my Jedi as a very "by the book" one, but who changes his views during the journey through different ways and sees that one does not have to shy away from romance.

So kinda don't want to choose Flirt options currently since it doesn't make sense for me, but don't want to get locked out.

I tend to end up pretty much neutral or only a little bit towards light/dark on my characters. I finished the inquisitor story yesterday and that's the most DS I've ever been, which only ended up at level III.

And imo the Empire is pretty awesome but Sith always screw things up, even when there are only two. They waste so many resources in power struggles or over vanity, and many Sith are just strong but incompetent when it comes to leadership. In contrast, pretty much every Moff I've seen in the stories has been level-headed and pragmatic. If the Empire was just an autocratic military dictatorship I don't think the Republic would even stand a chance. Maybe a genius Sith could lead, but not if they were full blown dark side.

You dont have to flirt the entire time, but its best to flirt a couple of times early on.

ok so I have a serious question about SWTOR game. What kind of PC can be brought and run the game straight out of the box with the mindset that you plan to upgrade the PC so it can run even better games?

Also what race can you buy via the Cartel store that you don't have to level your character to 10 to activate usage.

You can't. Flashpoints are one thing(and they will be doing that) but for Ops? Too many OPs bosses NEED 8 people, or at least over 4 people. Bioware would need to redesign every boss in the OPs to just be a tank and spank AND for certain OPs like Dread Fortress level design to be changed. That will not happen.

Out of curiosity, what is it about them? Puzzle mechanics?

I think trying to bolster the solo player to OPs (or even flashpoint level) is the wrong way to go about it though. The enemies should instead be scaled down to soloable levels. That may be too much work for regular mobs but for bosses? Did soloRevan really need to be 2 mil XP and require every major NPC wailing on him with us for 20 min? He should've been just a regular champion in the solo version. The annoyance of the orb mechanic outweighed its innovation. And surely, innovation is not limited to just make multiple people have to do separate things simultaneously.

Back to KotFE and the latest trailer, can you imagine the scene where the Emperor tells you he'll share everything with you if you just kneel, and you do so, and then it cuts to credits?

I don't know why, that image just popped into my mind and I found it hilarious. As if your PC were saying, "F*** this s**t, I ain't becoming no Outlander and fighting another god-damned war. I want to rule the galaxy!"

lol that would be funny. Though you should have one more scene with you aboard whatever the Fallen Empire version of a Star Destroyer is just leering as you rain fire down on planets. Kind of like the dark side ending of Jedi Academy.

Skadge, the only companion I refuse to raise affection for.

I'm also weirdly proud of my -900 affection with Scourge.

I only did it to unlock the 10 presence bonus.

You know you only need one companion of his role unlocked to get the bonus, right? Companion legacy bonuses don't stack so if you get one melee DPS or whatever he is you got'em all.

That's exactly the point. Besides I'll do anything to get away from that Nadiamance and that North voice.

Nadia is awesome. Well, not really awesome. Just really, really adorable.

I don't think they are irredeemable at all.

They just need to get rid of the xenophobic attitude, get rid of the slavery and stop trying to conquer the entire galaxy because power.

Oh and get rid of every incompetent sith and imperial officer.

Other than that they are cool.

Or just get rid of Sith altogether?

An Empire based on discipline, order and merit is an impressive thing indeed. One that doesn't need psychopaths with superpowers ruining it. That's something my agent would like to see very much.

Out of curiosity, what is it about them? Puzzle mechanics?

I'll give you an example.

Operator X.

There are four colours, two people need to become one colour each, a dps is always paired with a healer or tank.  In the first phase tanks need to control adds, healers heal and DPS dps cores. Simple right? this is where it gets complex. In the center of the room, the circle will be a colour, the tank/healer of that colour needs to go in there and stand in there while the dps of that colour goes to the panel and channels it. Neither of them can move soc the tank needs to make sure adds don't attack the channler and the dps need to destroy two cores ion under 50 seconds. You need to do this four times(for each colour and HM and nightmare mode even add more stuff to it that makes the fight extreamly hard) The second phase then becomes a tank and spank but during it the circle will light up with two of every colour which forces everyone to go on their circle or they take massive AOE damage (HM and nightmare also add a deletion mechanic that is hard as balls)

This is not the only boss raiders dub "the puzzle boss" Every OP has one.

Also the solo Revan fight was fun and lasts five minutes tops.

That only applies to the Heroic moment cooldown bonus.

The presence bonus stacks. Hence why you get 500 presence if you completed each companion's dialogue on both empire and republic side.

Consular is supposed to be THE model jedi. Its like Yoda turning dark side.

No you are not. The Hero of Tython is the "model Jedi" of this game. Someone who goes out protects the galaxy, shows that everyone can be redeemed, heroes can fall, and then go out to defeat the greatest threat the galaxy has ever faced. This is all told to you before you leave Tython. This is repeated until the game ends.

"You are the model Jedi."(word for word quote)

"You are the Jedi's finest."

"You embody what every Jedi strives to become. Your courage, commitment and leadership have seen us through this dark time. "

You play the most powerful Champion, bar none, even the Consular, that the Jedi have seen since Revan. ****** all around.

The Consular is the Barsen'thor. Warden of the Order. Your job is to protect the Jedi and insure that they exist. That's it. Nothing else is demanded from you. By any means necessary, if need be.

And yet I will hold my stance on the opinion that those DS choices make no sense.

But to each their own.

The Jedi Consular definitely strikes one as the model Jedi in accordance with her/his posture, being diplomatic, wise etc.

Incidentally, this reminds me of that particular point in the story, where the Jedi Consular will fake being a Sith to fool an Imperial Officer -- She even puts on the accent and everything. Brilliant.

No i'm not there yet. I just keep spouting the jedi code or calling the sith code dumb. Usually in front of Lana. It's annoying.

Oh and get rid of every incompetent sith and imperial officer.

Ya, that's not going to happen.

The Empire needs a comprehensive and effective Inquisitor system that is dedicated entirely to maintaining order by stopping any potential civil wars before they occur. Which means abolishing the whole "the student must kill the master" and the "'weak' must be eliminated" policy. They would also have to overhaul the military so they aren't at the whim of any Sith.

What civil wars?

Also the student killing the master was Sith tradition but not codified in the way you mean. That's only in the Rule of Two. The weak being eliminated on the other hand is Sith Philosophy 101. That's not going anywhere anytime soon, unless the Sith are.

Removing the Sith is no great feat, politically anyway. Assuming you have a reliable way of killing them all (there's the real challenge), simply appoint Moffs/Grand Moffs in charge of the Spheres of Influence (minus the Sith exclusive ones like Ancient Knowledge) and there you go. The military structure is self contained, it simply answers to Sith at all levels. Imperial Intelligence would also have to be reinstated, obviously.
