It's a clusterfuck in comparison to PVP -- I prefer the space combat of Battlefront 2.

Why is it when ever idiotic dps are told not to stand in **** or move around when they have a cone, they do it?

 

Majority oft he dps in our first few runs of Colossal monolith stood in white circles, ran when they had the cone, ran at people with orange circles and one dps had tank gear....

 

Once we removed these idiots we stompedt he boss but jesus christ is it that hard?

Expect pugs to do the stupidest thing possible. Your game will go much smoother.

Is there a way to reset an entire quest? I'm referring to the showdown with Jadus in particular at the end of Act I. I'd like to replay the conversation with him if possible but I can only go as far as fighting him again. Is there a larger reset available?

I think you can do it via the quest log. Unless that's the one you used.

Keep in mind that you need to leave the instance before resetting a mission in the log.

Should have been a way to reset to certain objective points as opposed to the entire mission.

DPS has the least responsibility in group content, so in nearly every MMO they tend be the worst PVE players on average. Obviously there are exceptions. 

 

I think its because they have much less responsibility for the outcome of group content than tanks or healers, so they are less likely to learn how to play when it comes to group content.

Big reason why most people are range dps sadly since range dps require extreamly little work. Melee dps require far more skill which made the first few tries even worse for me. I already have alot on my plate as a mara, I'm making sure I'm not standing in ****, making sure I'm not out-aggroing the tank and I'm right in the bosses ass while maximizing my damage as unlike other dps all I can do is dps, I don't need idiots running at me with a cone or orange circles.

Bad DPS are annoying as hell. I get that it's impossible to avoid all the AOE's but standing in them when there is plenty of warning is a pain in the ass for the healer.

I think you can do it via the quest log. Unless that's the one you used.

I did use that one. I travelled back to Fleet to reset it and I still have to fight Jadus.

Yeah, been raiding as of late, and it has been an annoyance with several DPS people in my groups, even more so when they seem to lack the ability to communicate--outright refusing to use the chat function. Always bothers me when people can't do something as simple as that.

 

Luckily the early raids are relatively easy, so have at least managed to complete them. I find tanking to be tons of fun, and I'm finding myself to be more than decent on the job (managed to even get small praise from my current one). Well will be more fun once I can get into Ops.

Almost all of the regular Flashpoints on my SW. Think I got 2-3 more. Currently done half with my JK.
