Yeah, in regards to flashpoints, people are essentially always in a hurry. Blatant disregard for team-play, I wouldn't be surprised if the same counted for OPS too.

Worse is people who don't know the mechaincs. I was doing hardmode Rakata prime and this idiot kept running into people with a circle during the final fight which instanly kills....

This was a fun read of some poor sods recent Rav run.
"Tanked rav via group finder today, joined group in full dark reaver (I have resurrected but why bother) so of course I got grief about my gear not being good enough even tho I told them group finder bolsters, so technically I'll have full set bonus and better gear than most of them (comm gear mix of 192 and 198s).
We pull Sparky and I notice neither tank has issues with holding aggro, and hit enrage the first time (lol), one tank leaves but most of the group can't understand why (ummm we enraged on easiest ops boss ever, maybe that's why?). We eventually get another tank and with some instruction to the dps we clear Sparky. Get to Bulo but nobody wants to volunteer to run barrels (either scared to, don't know how, or just cant be bothered). I run them but multiple people die to standing in blue circles too long. Have to try a few more times before people understand that standing in anything is pretty much bad.
Get to Torque, and there's a debate over if we're gonna need repair droids since dps was bad in Sparky, group votes to not use them (imo dps would just kill them anyway), well... Turns out Torque destroyed all the panels (never seen it happen before lol) which encourages the group to use repair droids next pull but we had issues between melee standing in fire and ranged killing them for some reason, I mean aoes being used on single target makes sense.
Master blaster, other tank psts me saying he wants Blaster as he's worried about kiting fire wheel of death, so I tank Master but other tank was correct in that during the fire wheel melee refuse to move and die so healers rezzed them once only to have it happen a 2nd time and we wipe because not enough dps. I respec to dps and just taunt Master and kite, we get past and onto Pearl and Cort.
Group wants to push Cortanni and just let Pearl enrage, "okay that's fine but make sure to stack for easier heals" which of course means snipers and Sorcs should use their max range and stay away from group and especially run away when targeted. We wiped a few times due to Pearls dmg getting too much for heals but eventually downed it.
Repair bills certainly accumulated fast."

It wasn't too tough for me. At the time my thoughts were that Jorgan was a great soldier but too much of a loose cannon for a command position. Dorne was a bit more square in that respect and a perfect counterpoint for my character. He still gets promoted later on anyway.

Lol, so what happens if you promote him then?
Does he get a promotion over a promotion?

AFAIK, every trooper companion gets a promotion when your trooper gets promoted to Major.

Your first choice is to choose an XO who will be promoted to Lieutenant. After that, when you're promoted to Major, whoever you chose as your XO will be promoted to Captain and the other one to Lieutenant. Jorgan simply wanted it too much in my opinion and needed to learn a bit more humility first, which he ultimately does.

The Hunter story has been a bit mixed so far. Balmora was **** but Nar Shaddaa was great.

Yup this is why I promoted Dorne. Not so much I wanted to give Jorgan a hardtime, but I wanted him to grow which he does at The Gauntlet.

I wish I didn't hate consular storyline so much. Because sage is fun as hell to play but by god the class story is a snooze fest. Same for Sorcerer.

Did you play past Act 1? because Act 1 in notoriously bad while Act 2 and 3 are pretty damn great. Can't comment on the Inquisitor.

So this confrontation was cool.

Certainly a breath of fresh air to have a Sith who--while still being ruthless and passionate--actually possessed some sense of honor, and was nice having the option to rather convincingly (as far as it goes) turn him to the light side. Of course, would be more impressive if he simply acted in such a way to come under your favor and infiltrate the Order, but I seriously doubt that will end up being the case. Well considerably more enjoyable than your average "Grrrr, voof voof!" Sith that one faces on a regular basis, which is why he primarily stands out.

I meant the choice on Typhon the dark side one at the end. It changes the storyline a bit.

Why do you keep calling Tython Typhon, tho?I meant the choice on Typhon the dark side one at the end. It changes the storyline a bit.
Anyway, I don't really like the Knight's, and especially the Consular's, progression through the ranks for lolreasons. I would be perfectly fine not being Knighted until Act I was finished.

The Consular's even more ridiculous for me. They just jump through the ranks because of showings of power, when that should be the last reason you promote anyone. It's about maturity as well as mastery of the Force, and neither demonstrate that just before leaving Tython, and the Barsen'thor definitely doesn't display it at the end of Chapter II.
