That's why I killed all the escaped patients lol.

And the thing that got me through the Consular storyline was the Female Voice to be honest. I find it to be quite lovely to listen to. That, and Telekenisis Sage got me through the Consular.

I like the female VA too, I don't get the hate Ryzaki has for it. Yeah, it's a low-key preformance but it's meant to be that. I just hope there is a moment in the story where the upper dialog options provide a more emotional response to show a constrast to her usual tone.

And the voice snippets from the male VA in the character creator didn't sound very good, so it's not like I had much choice.

Should have just had Nolan North do the Smuggler voice -- Yes, he might incidentally have ended up sounding like every other Nolan North character in existence, but it would have been preferrable to that of the dull Male Jedi Consular. A dull Nolan North is a no-fun Nolan North.

Just taste and playing the Iresso romance is just...no. I wish I had made her single.

Also love being mocked by a AP powertech in pvp on my sniper yes big man using your fotm to farm one of the squishiest characters is such an achievement.

No. I actually like the smuggler, and the last thing he needs is to be Nathan Drake.

He's fine as he is probably close to sounding like Han Solo. There's a charm to Nolan North though, and how he puts himself 100 % into the characters he plays, which is somewhat a reflection of what Mark Hamill does; He's having fun and it only strengthens his performance.

It would have probably been too easy to place him as the Smuggler but I'd consider it preferable from him being the Jedi Consular, or someone else entirely, because it feels and sounds like a restricted Nolan North who wasn't having fun.

I wish Nolan did the BH. SMugglers male voice is perfect imo.

I have no issues with male SW or smuggler. agent, JK and SI are kinda mixed, they have good parts but some really bad parts. Male consular and BH is...pretty bad.

tl;dr: Female class voices are generally better (and this is from a person who loves the male SW)

The Warrior is pretty much a wild card. He has the skill, he has alot of allies but he simply cares nothing for titles (the opposite of the inquisitor). He wants to do what he wants and help the empire his way. This is why so many high ranking sith want to keep him close. There is a sense of awe and fear with him because he can make that siths day good, but he can easily turn that around and make that siths life a living hell in a heart beat.

Marr is probably the only council member who has true respect for him, but also knows that he needs to keep his eyes on him.

What have you mentioned tho is a big part of the class quest on Rishi tho.

I understand that, though it also depends on how that role is represented throughout the story. There are of course limitations within the game, since I doubt you'll ever get a chance to do any significant choices in the grand scheme of things, but it is always an appreciated aspect if your role as an enforcer is met with a certain degree of control and superiority and the means to use them, even if you respond to a higher authority. It works well with early and mid parts of the game when you are Baras' apprentice, but despite being a Lord, your actions is mostly restricted to use of cunning and manipulation by individual characters or groups on planetary missions (but there are one or two exceptions). It is a much appreciated aspect, one I have enjoyed so far quite significantly, but also that has to evolve to some capacity, wherein the chips start to gradually stack on the table.

Don't know what kind of a person this Marr is, but everyone seems to praise him from one end to the next, so will be interesting to see for myself once he shows up.

And good to hear Rishi will do something along the lines that I wish.

What Chavin said pretty much.

You will meet Marr for the first time very soon as a SW. He then plays an important role in the end game content (Makeb, Oricon and SoR being the big examples)

Yeah that's why all of my characters are female. The male VA's are either bad or in the cases that they aren't Smuggler, JK, Trooper, Etc the female VA is simply better.

I'm more fond of Marr's dynamic with the agent of all my characters.

Inquisitor is a close second.

SW and agent are my fav dynamic with Marr, more so as a shadow agent. There's alot of respect dashed with lots of displeasure on both sides (she hates force users and Marrs displeasure of the shadow agent makes sense)

Yep I only play the remove yourself agents so his displeasure (especially starting at Makeb) morphing into respect and a friendly relationship  was very nice to see. But I also played an pure LS so maybe that was it.

I mean clearly he got over it seeing as his reaction to my agent's I do as I please was a fond that you do.

This overall helps make Marr a far more interesting character. He's able to put his hatred aside for the sake oft he empire and can even grow to respect peopel he disagrees with.

Also amusing that for a guy who has no interest in the throne, he's the best the empire has to a leader. While the Republic... has that war monger.

Yep he is easily my favorite non PC sith. Also his unimpressed reaction if you play a pub and threaten him made me lol.

He really is. And oh god don't get me started on that fool that they decided to make Chancellor. That was so painfully stupid. All of Ziost I was just "you have gots to be kidding me."

I haven't played through all of the classes/gender yet, but the female Imperial Agent and the smugglers (both male and female voices match their characters completely, imo) are probably my favorites. Sith Inquisitor (female) and Jedi Knight (female) were ok.

I still can't believe Saresh asked my smuggler to stop an illegal weapon trading ring. That's like his bread and butter.

I don't think Marr is particularly interesting. I think that he's portrayed as being generally competent, which is such a sharp reversal from most Imp and Sith characters that pro-Imp players are almost automatically disposed positively toward him.

I also don't see why calling Saresh a 'warmonger' is necessarily a bad thing in this particular context. The Republic is at war with the Sith, who are, y'know, Space Magic Nazis with a waayyyyy longer list of war crimes. The Republic also lost the previous war largely (not wholly, but largely) because its leadership lacked the will to carry it through. Pursuing war with the Sith to the knife, or to unconditional surrender, is a perfectly reasonable policy - maybe even the best policy. Saresh's error with Ziost wasn't that she was prosecuting the war with the Sith, but that she did a very uneven job of it. Trying to direct the campaign from Coruscant and failing to pay attention to the intelligence from assets on the ground was not smart. Invading in the first place might not have been smart - Ziost might have made a far better distraction for Imperial forces instead of being a target for Republic invasion.

I don't like the British accent thing from either a lore perspective or an aural perspective; Jo Wyatt is the exception because she's basically perfect anyway.
