Got a day off from work today, was fully prepared to simply play TOR, only to be met with a maintenance screen.

Going by my vast WoW cliché knowlegde, I'm pretty sure that some poor polish cleaning lady fell over the server plug.

There should be no patch period as it fixes hardly anything.

Server stuff that is beyond our comprehension most likely. And yes, that was serious. If it was that easy to do maintenance for an MMO, we wouldn't be here, would we? We'd be developing it ourselves! 

 

All jokes aside, I imagine they're also adding in resources for the Expansion. They did the same with ME3, by putting in MP assets for future DLC through patches, so I imagine they're throwing in Kotfe resources.

 

That, or these longer maintenance times greatly lessen the risk of anything going upside and having to reschedule the maintenance. Which works for me!

 

Although I am eager to get back to hunting down Rogun.

That's my secret- I'm always at work (when I'm replying here). Maintenance will be long done by the time I get back.

Hopefully some clarification on companions that not utterly horrible will emerge. Though at this point, that hope might be delusional.

Seeing my A&M peeps here brings a sudden urge for me to play LOTRO again.

Imperial Taris is the only planetary quest I'll still do during 12xp because Thana Vesh.

 

I don't know, I can see why people would find her annoying. If I'm perfectly honest I'm a little surprised I don't find her annoying myself. Maybe it is just Laura Bailey preventing that. But she amuses me. And my inquisitor definitely needs her. Can I please just kill Ashara instead and take Thana as my apprentice?

It was weird too -- One time, I'm like "Right, this time I'm gonna let her go." as soon as I made my choice, Thana would snatch my lightsaber out of my hand, sit down and shove it up her rectum, as it activates and kills her anyway.

Like you thought ME3 was bad at negating your decisions, this however, is a whole new level of odd.

You don't know the power of Laura Bailey, I must defend my favorite VA.

 

Actually, in all seriousness she probably is my favorite female VA. Other than Jo Wyatt, who unfortunately I haven't heard in anything else (I don't play DA). Then again, the pool of female voice actresses I almost always recognize isn't that big. It's pretty much Laura Baily, and Jennifer Hale and I think the latter is a tad overrated (as in people won't shut up about her, not that she isn't talented).

 

I have a question. Does she pay you to be this whipped, or is that all you? People you actually know aren't even worth this much devotion. 

Her voice is all the payment I need.
