Yeah, but still, Belsavis is bad for just about every class. Especially before they added in all travel routes.

I think you meant Balmorra there ;)

Yes. I'm so used to calling Belsavis **** I got confused.

The only good thing of Belsavis is side arc plot on Empire where you release Dread Masters from their prison.

The actual plot of Belsavis is great. It's just the level design that's garbage with walls everywhere and how you can walk 5 feet too far in one direction and get fucked up by over leveled enemies.

Yeah... those freaking walls are rather bad if you want to move quick from A to B. You always have to go over C,D and E because THE WALLS ARE EVERYWHERE!

It's the same on Corellia.

So I started a new Agent because I wanted to take a break from the republic side.

I'll get to my Consular again after a while.

Also is it just me or does leveling go faster on empire characters?

That's more due to community over gameplay mechanics. The player base is far more experienced so the flashpoints and pvp just generally do better and as such garner EXP faster. At least in my experience anyways.

Finished Jedi Knight storyline.

I had a blast with it. Was expecting it to be crap die to peoples posts here, but glad that didn't end up being the case. Sure, it wasn't anything extraordinary but it did what it wanted to do well enough. Enjoyed all of the companions, and the final showdonw was epic. Think I'll postpone the expansions until later, since I want to start a new class. Probably Sith Inquisitor.

urgh.. imperial side is so confusing. Can't really go all the way Dark Side or you ended up sabotaging yourself or the empire or risk your squadmate's affection...... loving this.

The starter planets and Kaas are just more condensed. You don't get more XP, but you do get to things faster.

Great to hear you had a blast with it! I really enjoyed the story as well, despite not beign the most original of them all.

Good, good.

Let the snark flow through you.

Honestly replaying the Knight story for the third time I can see a bit more where it drags, which is basically in the middle. Act 1 is a self contained story. Act 3 is a self contained story. Act 2 however suffers from Dead Man's Chest syndrome in that it's pure set up with nothing remarkable of its own. And in general, otherwise decent story is stretched thin by the fact that we have to repeat it to hit our planetary checklist. Destroyed the superweapon, or stopped the impending cataclysm? Great! Now you gotta do it again because there's still two to three more planets to hit before we can move along. But MMOs gonna MMO, it's not a Knight specific thing. And overall the payoff is still satisfying.

The starter planets and Kaas are just more condensed. You don't get more XP, but you do get to things faster.

Hutta and Ord Mantell are fairly comparable, though Hutta is a little smaller. Korriban is definitely worlds better than Tython. Same with Kaas/Coruscant. And Balmorra is slightly less shitty than Taris. Just a tad.

Otherwise, speaking of the Bounty Hunter, I was checking out a Phil LaMarr AMA yesterday and one of the people who asked a question is apparently marrying the daughter of the Male BH voice actor. I asked him about it and he was telling me how he did the voice- it apparently involves a shotgun mic. Interesting stuff. The guy also does a lot of voice over for The History Channel and Dateline NBC.

Sometimes yeah (Ilium is a planet that goes much faster imp side than pub). Pub has a lot of unnecessary backtracking. Imp tends to keep that to a minimum. (Though teh Inquisitor gets it bad.)

I'm halfway through Dromund Kaas and my level seems to be to date with most of my republic classes around that time.

So I guess its mostly the illusion and the fact that the missions feel/are faster.

I feel like the spirits of the Ancient Sith needs to show up in a prominent role in the nearest future; Given the shared hatred for the Emperor, Freedom Nadd (I think it was) & Marka Ragnos would most likely both bear a grudge against him.

I'm really hoping Ragnos's spirit comes into play later, if anyone knows how to deal with Vitiate, it would undoubtedly be him.

The only issue with the Jedi Knight storyline is that it gets a little repetitive. To some extent all of the classes suffer from this, but it is perhaps most over the top with the Jedi Knight, who repeatedly saves planets from being destroyed by superweapons.

That isn't to say that the class story wasn't fun though, and the JK gets by far the most epic arc. By the end he or she has slaughtered countless Sith, wrecked multiple Darths, and solo'd the Emperor. The Jedi Knight feels like the most powerful duelist on the Republic side by the class story's end, so in that I think it achieved what it set out to do.

"Marka Ragnos what do we do?!"

"There's only one way to destroy something like Vitiate...."

"What?! What?!"

"You must drive him to self destruction... with waifus. And by Waifus I of course mean Lana...."

I love the Agent's and Kaliyo's chemistry. Especially when they are undercover.

Terrorist: "They say you fought the empire at Druckenwell."

Kaliyo: "I didn't know you served at Druckenwell! We should talk."

Agent: >_<

The problem I have with being Jedi... its like being Paragon all the time... I kept remembering Aria's "so sickeningly uptight". It gets dull very quick though....

Make for the greater good dark side choices like I did then.

I'll swallow him as the Sith Inquisitor and break the canon-non-canon.
