My b*tch-goddess Sith Lord is fun. Kinda wish I do Imperials storylines first when I subbed a few months ago instead of Republic. But I like ftp levelling.. its easy to skip all side quest that give you companions stuff
And I'm loving Quinn more than I do Doc (can I ask for a divorce?)
I love the Agent's and Kaliyo's chemistry.
Ugh no thanks. The one downside of the agent is that I'm stuck with Kaliyo till freakin' Alderaaan! I swear I would almost drop CCs to unlock HK despite the fact that it's a clone I'd likely delete later.

Otherwise, Doc seems like a missed opportunity. He looks like Autolycus from Hercules/Xena but doesn't have the same rogueish charm. Mostly it feels like he tries too hard. Hell they probably could've gotten Bruce Campbell to voice, too. But as it stands I think I prefer Tharan Cedrax, as far as playboy healer Jedi companions go.
Tharan is pretty great. He has the advantage of essentially being two characters with Holliday balancing him out well.
Doc really shouldn't have been a Li for freaking Jedi Knight IMO. Way too horny. 
And out of all terrible romances for female PCs Quinn for sure was the best one! 
I just did Vette romance for the second time, and again I got so much d'aww feelings.

Well revenge is a sucker's game, but it is enjoyable effort if it so happens to drop on my lap.
And having just hit lvl 50, I'm bombarded with Ops and FP. Gonna have to see which one to prioritize first, and if there is some chronological order to them. But that will have to wait until I'm completely done with the story.

But he's not a sleaze ball. That's a huge part of his character.

How can you love Thana, but dislike Kaliyo?

As is Zenith and Qyzen, at least on first impression. Maybe they get better if you start talking to them but I couldn't be bothered.
With companion content being gated the way it is they really shouldn't have made simply "meh" companions. Ain't nobody got time for that. As it stands most of my crews gather dust apart from the romance option and one, sometimes two others. The agent is the only exception where I found every companion introduced (apart from Kaliyo interesting). It's also the only one where I started disliking a character after finishing their conversations. Temple needs to die.

I don't really go for "tomboyish I'm a super tough criminal types". Such people are also usually bald. I didn't care for Jack in ME, either.

Don't do the OPs until after you've done class stories. If you where on my server I woulds also run you through Ilum too after you finished your story.

Maybe, but that's my point. They didn't really sell me when they came in, like other characters did. A Joiner diplomat? Sounds interesting. An AI who ruthlessly self-improves? Definitely want to check that out. A rebel with a chip on his shoulder? Meh.

Because that gets quite pricy down the line? I'm still working on finishing affection with characters I like and I'm not exactly rolling in the millions here.
Not really. I've maxed out affection with all my characters so far with zero trouble even before I reach Makeb.
My advice when it comes to gifts is to buy around 65 rank 1 gifts. Make sure they are their favorite.
After that you should be around 4000. You can then do a couple of conversations and fill the rest with prototype rank 5 gifts. They aren't expansive most of the time.

I didn't even bother with that. I just built up a collection over time via crew skills and then spammed. I ended up having too many.
