Seriously... I'm so tired of my guy getting "stuck" on things in the game, or standing next to a box, then suddenly appearing on top of the box and not being able to jump down off the box and getting stuck... omg. Fix please.

And the bug where you get stuck in the cockpit when you go up there to talk to Joker/EDI.

Of course I'm for real. Especially when I go up to the front of the ship to talk to EDI, my Shep always seems to glitch out and get "stuck" in a certain spot, so I need to carefully walk around it to avoid it.

Mass Effect 3 is many things, but it is not a buggy game.

I dare you to play unpatched Fallout: New Vegas if you think ME3 is buggy.

It's got a few little niggles, but it's definitely not a horrendously buggy game like the latest Fallout games, or The Elder Scrolls series. The biggest problem had with ME3 was getting stuck behind Joker in the cockpit.

Sorry mate, but ME3 is in no way very buggy. The most I've gotten was not having a weapon after a short cutscene.

ME1, on the other hand includes the mysterious box climbing you brought up. ME2 has that weird problem with some cover, making you face the wrong way, and then sliding around when you aim from behind it.

We have three noticable bugs in the game:
- Occasional getting stuck on something, most likely in the cockpit. Rare.
- Face import not working probably for many people.
- Quests on citadel getting broken if you save and load during them.
The bugs are annoying, but all-in-all it's one of the more bug-free games I've played over the years.

Rare? I lost count on the amount of times I got stuck on that bloody panel in the cockpit! If I go and stand on that panel-thingie on the floor just beside and alittle behind EDI, I would get stuck every time. It became a matter of remembering to save before you go talk to EDI & Joker and then to carfeully navigate around it...

Still, that's the only noticable bug I found.

I've got stuck only three times in more than a dozen playthroughs. Guess we have a different experience here.

It must be tied to hardware or some other specific configuration, because I get this bug almost every time I go there. I got in the habit of quicksaving right before I open the door every time. I'd say that it happens at least 2/3 of the time to me.

Yep, if you walk slowly at some point on the right side of joker's sit, there is a place were you get stuck 100%

Avoiding it is the only solution.

Since ME2 there was always some problem of character being stuck and getting on objet, it was never fully fixed.

Also, the game support ended 6 month ago, so don't expect any official new patch.

I agree, but then again I also consider most Bethesda games too buggy to be worth buying. I found ME2 to be even more buggy then ME3 with the clipping issue that caused you to perma-float since it could happen anywhere.

I think we should have high enough expectations concerning a game being bug-free that a game doesn't need to be as bad as Fallout New Vegas in order to be considered buggy...

I remember this happened to me when I was doing Jacob's loyalty mission in ME2. Another bug I don't think I mentioned... it was extremely annoying, and I had to load and redo like 30 minutes of gaming or something like that.

That's kindof a big deal though. I like talking to Joker and EDI, and EA should assume we will do that.. that bug should be fixed. Especially since it happens so frequently. How could they not know about it? They must know about it and just not care enough to fix it...

Is not fallout a Bethesda series? With them bugs are to be expected, and a lot of them. I guess that's the price we pay for how massive their open world games are.

The engine is from Bethesda, but the game itself is from Obsidian. Of course that means that even more bugs are to be expected.

Back on topic: I got  the game on release day and usually after one  or two hours the game would crash. Annoying, but since it got many autosave points and none of the bugs were game breaking, they were tolerable. By now most of the bugs are gone and the game is pretty stable, so I don't exectly see your point. One or two issues might be left, but bugginess is actually no big concern for me with this game.

I just finished doing this exact thing.  Its one of the worst gaming experiences I've encountered re bugs.  Many times I thought I'd simply not be able to complete the game!

On topic, I've always thought that ME2 & 3 were some of the most fluid, professionally made games I've played since the 8 bit Nintendo days. I often noted how I took it for granted that I had been playing for 15 hours and not one problem.

I would not call ME3 buggy, yes it has some little niggles but it's not buggy.

Wow, everyone so defensive. Yeah, I know - Bioware's games tend to be less buggy than Bethesda's games. But guess what? Bethesda's standard of "acceptable" gameplay should not be applied to Bioware.

Also, the simple fact that bugs in Bioware games are rare compared to Bethesda doesn't mean the ones we KNOW are there shouldn't be fixed (such as the bug that gets your Shepard stuck in the Normandy cockpit when you go talk to EDI.... repeatedly.)
