Dwarfism exists in real life my friend.
...I know. That was the point.

There's even a romance where you can romance a sister of the Chantry. There's a critical decision at the end of this romance arc, which is that the PC has to convince the sister to turn her back on the Chantry or support her decision to remain a sister. In either case, she turns down the PC, and the Chantry she worships at just happens to be the one that Anders bombs. A great tie-in to the rest of the DA series, if I do say so myself.
Of course!
Then of course there is the dangerous desire demon romance.
She starts out extremely Tsundere towards your character, and switches to Yandere if you give her the right gifts.
If you cheat on her or fail to invite her to the big dance you get a bad end.

So, if you cheat on her, she kidnaps your waifu, assumes her form, and if you're romance meter isn't high enough for your current waifu, you would be unable to tell that the person you are w/ is an impostor?

Oh no no no! You see thats an evil infiltrator from Demon High that kidnaps your waifu.
This one is just violently devoted to/possessive of you. She kills the other waifu and then brainwashes you into loving her forever if you cheat.

If only a few players do the romances why have them at all.
An overly optimistic player on another thread accused me of blind pessimism and fearmongering because of comments about the DAI romances.
Nice to know my comments won't cause DAI to be a failure.
Rotfl. I believe romances make the game more.
Ultimately DA is about Dragon Age not romances .
Quantic Dreams games that have romances are about serial killers and the supernatural .
CDprojekts games.....well I haven't played those so I can't say if the sex is a major focus or not.
There are a Japanese pc games which are not hentai where romance is the major focus but it's not hidden and you know that going in.
I consider myself a mancer but I wouldn't buy a game just for romances .
It has to be a quality game based on something else that interest me.

Alright. Got it!
That's a pretty chilling romance. I'm sure there will be threads w/ thousands of pages discussing this and wondering if the PC is truly happy despite being brainwashed, or actually cares.

Why romance humans in fantasy games when you can romance 'em in real life?

Real life romances have better climaxes than the BW ones too.

I always found everyone hitting on my Dwarven warden to be weird. It just made me uncomfortable, like they have a small person fetish or something.

But then wouldn't you be worried that your dwarven Warden thought herself unattractive and all humans are racist?

So if anyone likes a person who isn't conventionally attractive that means he/she has a weird fetish.Eterna5 wrote...

I have a cunning plan. What you need is a Dwarven love interest!

Having Alistair and Zevran oogle me like I'm some sort of delicious petite candy was worse. So yes, I feel as though racism would be far more believable.
