 After playing Star Wars The Old Republic MMO and really lovin most of it with only a few things that I wish we're better but overall its probably my favorite MMO and what actually got me to try other MMOs. I uset to hate MMOs and besides SWTOR by Bioware there's only maybe a few others I can say I like and reason being a lot of MMOs have bad stories and endgames and you really can't play them solo. SWTOR has good story lines for each character/class and allows you to have companions that fight along side of you much like in mass effect with your squadmates also like in mass effect and dragon age games how strong your squad mate/companion is and whether or not they are loyal depends on your choices and you gaining their affection and trust with gifts. So playing the MMO solo is very much possible with the help of these companions and stil fun but for those who are social you can still join groups or guilds if you like.

I'm not usually an MMO fan but for those reasons I have become more of a fan and can see the positives with Bioware making MMOs out of great franchises like Mass Efffect and Dragon Age. With MMOs like SWTOR and soon ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) being different from your normal and typical MMOs and offering an experiance that is more like that of console game but with a huge multiplayer is a good thing for not just the future of MMOs but MMOs on PC and Console. So if Bioware does consider making a Mass Effect MMO like they have in the past I hope they do and maybe have Casey Hudson be a big part of it since even though I felt śomethings could've been done a little different with some things in SWTOR I still think he did a great job overall with the SWTOR MMO and could do another great job on a Mass effect MMO.

Btw I still love playing games the way it is normally on any platform so I want a Mass Effect 4 regardless if there was an MMO or not. Only reason I want a Mass Effect MMO is because they can do more with the massive universe in ME then they could on a regular game and plus there's the benefit of not having to wait for the next title in a series to be released because in MMOs the Devs not only can add updates and add things but they can just add expansions  and continue the story that way so we don't have to wait long or worry about big changes being made to the next game that we might not like therefore ruining the game when it was fine to begin with.

While I do not need a Mass Effect MMO...as long as they keep coming out with console games...I will say this...

I never understood why people were so against the idea on these forums.

If you look at the best that SWTOR and Star Trek Online have to offer...

...you can see that a Mass Effect MMO could definitely work very well.
