I agree.

They should be struck down...

In the name of the one true god, the Maker, and his bride Andraste.

As for you mage, there are some big bad Templar men that want to talk to you...

Templars are walking meat sacks in armor if they ever fought a mage that could fight like a rogue with up to date hand to hand combat and dual wield training they will loose every time.

Just keep telling yourself that, little missy.

You honestly think a templar could take a battle mage? a mage trained with the same possible combat techniques they learned plus being able to use magic? lol

Templat annuls magic, now he's just some guy with a sword. Templar has elite training spanning years in martial combat and a single spell type, uses superior fighting techniques to disarm and slay opponent, whose needed to focus on balancing training between spell casting, increasing their mana, sword weilding, and stamina.

You act as if there aren't apostates who train in CQC specifically to deal with templars when their magic is nullified because at the end of the day templars are men/women in armor nothing more and being stabbed will kill them.

What blasphemy is this?

Remind me, which race has inherit resistance to magic and really controls the lyrium trade?

You misinterpret me my dear short friend. True the Mages are the directors of the world but the dwarves are the highest of the mundane races for your kind gather the lyrium and for the enchantments that we use. The dwarves are the builders of our world and are appreciated for their contribution.

It is only when mages and dwarves work together that both sides are at their strongest. We build the clock, you build the tower together we make wonders. I apologies if you thought I counted the dwarves among the lesser your kind were made without magic because of your noble purpose. It is the humans, elves, and kossith mundane that are the cogs for unlike the mages and dwarves they have no knowledge of their place, they don't know that they are merely the tools that their better would use to make everyone stronger. Ya, and they can't make you more Juggernaut Golems like the ones in Minrathous.

Hmmm.... y'know what? I'll throw my support for Tevinter-Orzammar Alliance 2.0.

Mage Power, Dwarf Steel!

Yes! Mages shall rule the surface, dwarves will rule the deep and together peace, order, and prosperity will hold sway over the world again.

Sound good to me.

That is, until someone mentions mundane. Than we'll see how long the dwarves cooperate with a filthy surfacer thinking they're superior to the dwarfs and spitting all over the paragons and ancestors like that.

I'm right :) Rylock kept hunting Anders down inspite of the Warden invoked the Right of Conscription on Anders right in front of King Alistair (Which he given the OK status) and conscript him as a Grey Warden, placing him outside the Templars' jurisdiction. Many templars like her will break the law if things don't go their way, and thats exactly what she did. Templars tend to have that above the law attitude. Just look at Rylock, Cullen and the rest of the currupted Templars.

And yes Anders was still being down by the Templars in DA2. Didn't your Hawke get approched by angry Ferelden refuees right after you spoken to the woman about the wereabouts of Anders? I always allowed Carver to speak to end things peacefully.

Elthina promoting peace? Yeah and tell me the story about the Darkspawn finally wants to become friends with the Grey Wardens. Yeah I saw how she kept on allowing Meredith to become a Tyrant.

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Codex_entry:_History_of_Kirkwall:_Chapter_4

Knight-Commander Guylian's only written comment was in a letter to Divine Beatrix III: "It is not our place to interfere in political affairs. We are here to safeguard the city against magic, not against itself." The Divine, as a friend to the emperor, clearly had other ideas.

Elthina had allowed Meredith to interfere in politcal affairs when she refused to allow a new viscount after 3 years.

If this was Elthina's way to promote peace then I don't know what is.

Please show your in-game evidence of the Templars harassing Anders after Awakening and before DA ][ (resulting in his fusion with Justice--YOU said that Anders had "no reason" to allow himself to be possessed outside of Templar influence).

What does Meredith's involvement in political affairs have to do with tyranny towards mages? It isn't causation. I repeat: the only "tyranny" Meredith engaged in was invoking the Rite of Annulment, and we'll never know if Elthina would have stopped it or not. I suspect she would have.

What I'm about to show you isn't in-game evidence, but it is a short-story written by Jennifer Hepler that takes place between Awakening and DA2, and is considered Canon.

On the contrary the Tevinter and the dwarves have always had a good relationship ever since the beginning. The Tevinter even built the dwarves and underground embassy where both parties can talk so the dwarves don't have to go on the surface and lose their caste.

So a mage/dwarven ruled world would be a very stable and secure one.

Their relationship has always been one of simple economic gain. In truth, I doubt either side actually cares about the other, if that were the case dwarves would be helping to fight qunari and mages would be aiding in clearing the deep roads. In truth, both sides tolerate eachother at best because one has massive access to lyrium, and the other has an insatiable demand for it.

I love how the nation that was fighting rebellions in the Anderfels and Rivain even before the Bligths; that demolished Arlathan; that fought a Civil War for over half a century; and I'm not referring to Andraste; that started the Bligths; that has occuppied more foreign territory than any other; the only nation unwilling to sign an armistice with the Qunari is being hailed as some harbinger of peace.
And, of course, the answer will be the usual double standard: when normals start wars, they're violent barbarians but when mages do, they're creating unity.

I'd be questioning the worth of mankind if I didn't know he was just trolling.

The templars become slightly less effective but are still able to fight mages without the crippling lyrium addiction that the chantry uses to control them.
