I'm often amazed how well some folks manage to blend insane genocidal violent, or racist proclamations with supposedly genuine appeals to morality or the welfare of downtrodden. It's like they specifically made the effort to make hypocrisy into an art form.

Both sides do it so often on these forums, but its really no different then everything else, its always the extremest on the far ends of the debate that scream the loudest and get the most attention.

One side will do anything to win the mages freedom, no matter how many they have to kill or mind control to do it.

The other side will do anything to deny the mages their freedom, no matter how many they have to kill or mind rape to do it.

I dont post in these threads very often, it gets tiring reading the same arguments and the same extreme examples being cited over and over again.  This is coming from someone who likes a good debate mind you.

As a moderate extremist, I'll tell you what we need. We need some sort of being that can cancel magic. Anytime these people get near a mage, a mage is unable to perform magic; the mages would be just like everyone else around these "blanks," as they shall be called.

Something I always find funny is how adamant people are when they side with the templars and mages.

Especially when the conflict is so badly written and failing so hard at being "grey" that any sane person won't take it so seriously.

Chantry needs to be removed or it needs to be changed so drastically that it is no longer the Chantry we saw in DAO or DA2. I do believe the Chantry played a huge role in the Templar/ Mage war

Not for omnicidal maniac
or extremists who brainwashed folks and will burn every chantry ally throwing justifications.
Peacefully it could be almost impossible unless we prove or at least convince other peoples that we are good guys ( http://tvtropes.org/...thGoodPublicity even if we aren't ) not chantry and we get moral victory to the point others will follow our  philosophy not theirs or at least play by our rules.
