I'm man enought o admit that I cried at the ending of Dragon Age. There was a lot of drama. My PC having to slay the Archdemon, knowing his lover Morrigan would abandon him afterwards... all that jazz.

What REALLY got to me was when your companions were saying their goodbyes to you. THus music was great, the acting was great. It really touched me. Anyone else?

Teared up with Duncan died, and when I had to kill Lelianna to get the Reaver specialization. I went back and removed her from the party and did it again- wanted to see how it affected the end of the game.

I especially liked what Sten says about my PC -- I can't remember the exact words, but it was good to know my PC had such an impact on such a stoic character.

Sten says that he hopes he wont see you again, since the next time he'll be in this part of the world it will be as part of an invasion.

Unless I'm totally off my rocker (which is a possibility!), I believe he has another line -- at least if you take the sacrifice ending (and perhaps if you had his approval high enough).  Something along the lines of being asked if he ever met anyone worthy in Fereldan, and him replying "only one."

The actual wording in the game is, of course, much better than my half-remembered version.

I didn't cry, but came close; I did get a lump in my throat a few times. I remember this occurring during the human noble opening when you leave your parents and also at the end of the game when everyone was saying their goodbyes. That part was extremely well done!

The first time I played the human noble origin as it should be played, talking to all the NPC's and getting to know your family and friends.
I got choked up pretty bad when I found Fergus' son; I just lost it when your father starts talking about you carrying on the family name, cringing every word... :c

I was on the verge of tears when Jowan calls you his friend as they're dragging him off to be executed... but that more just because I'm a huge sap. <3

I cried facing the guards (post-coronation) that escort you outside to meet your crowd/epilogue knowing this was going to be the end of the line.

I didn't actually cry, but I was furious and yelled at Alistair over the dumping thing and then the "the best thing I can do as king" crap. That was my first playthrough and I had no idea it was coming. I started over the second I finished wondering how to get Sten his cake.

On my first play though I chose sacrefice, didn't agree to morrigans spell. I got more than a bit teary eyed.

Heavenly Sword, I cried. This game made me laugh. I still love this game more, but it really didn't make me feel all that sad. Especially with me able to create a new character almost immediately who was incredibly selfish.

I am usually kind of person who laugh on sad movies because I find them silly like Titanic etc xD but somehow all endings in this game touched me. I was abit too much in my char probably... well after hours of playing and playing you forget on reality... ugh >sob<

It was a sad ending, sort of like the fellowship ending at the end of LOTR. Did I cry? No.

I didn't cry but when Leliana commits suicide at the end so she can be with you in the afterlife, I just sat there for awhile speechless.

Well... I took Morrigans offer, so I had nothing to cry about.
I got emotional with human noble origin ending though.

This. I cried.
Sacrificing yourself yields the most tearful ending without a doubt.
