I know this is old news to most of you. I just found out about it. Forgive me, ok? Anyway, was there a patch installed to fix this glitch? (I'm on 360.) If yes, is there a way to remove said patch? I've beaten DA2 countless times - I'm just morbidly curious to play around with this.

Google tells me the only glitch relating to this quest I can find is the infinite xp glitch.
This actually applied to most (if not all) sidequests, and wasn't specific to this one. Where you just hammer the button to keep turning it in indefinitely and continue to get xp rewards.
Anyway, that one was patched.
If there's a different glitch you're talking about, I've no idea.
