I am pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that potential love interests should get jealous and fight over you, I was so disappointed when Alistair didn't show his affection for me by punching Zevran in the nose for hitting on his gal but Alistair didn't even challenge Zevran to one duel for my love, instead he was all like "you gotta choose between me and Zevran" and I was all like "whatevs, you can go be Archdemon chow you virgin".
Hopefully this problem is being rectified in Inquisition.

1. Sorry you are right I should be more clear, everyone that matters.
2. Arent most of the lines designed to give the player an ego boost? For instance a conversation between Aveline and Carver.
Aveline "Hai Carver, you are a good warrior"
Carver "Yeah but I am nowhere near as awesome as my sister whom I despise for being so much more awesome than I am"
Or in the starting area for the Cousland Warden.
Random Jerk I never met before "Hey Cousland Warden even though you haven't been enlisted into the Wardens yet, remember that time you gave me a right good thrashing at that tournament because you are so awesome at fighting and everything?
