I'm content with being merely "above average." But I also think I'm improving bit-by-bit (maybe) and haven't yet hit a skill plateau... I hope. I'll never be among the truly great at this game, and that's fine.

I'm not really sure how I would define myself as a player. I'm pretty sure I'm above average, even mediocre for that matter, I guess someone else whom I've played with will have to answer for me.

That is quite embarassing indeed, most of of my scores are over 200K easily. I blame Collector games giving lower scores than other factions, otherwise it would be 200K+.

Score in a game with certain BSNers is all about who finds the spawn first and blows it up with grenades/rockets. All you gotta do to 'win' is get there 2 seconds before they do and throw a bunch of grenades.

Too much emphasis is put on scores. Don't bleed out every wave, play the objectives, don't do anything stupid, and kill what you can. That's all that is necessary.

I seem to share the same thoughts as the op I can and often to get to the top of the board in gold pugs but when I met up with our bsn elite I usually come in second. The thing I love a out playing with fellow bsners is he fact that the games go so fast.
The "they usually kill he enimies before I see them" comment is very true as well. I played with wngmv the other day rockin a talon gethfiltrator and was killing things before I ever had a chance to round the corner.

QFT. Insane lag plays a role in some matches as well.
