First race I'm playing is the qunari female. THANK you Bioware. :-)

Between Qunari and elves I don't think I'll ever play a human again. 'Cept if the human background includes noblility. But nobles are hawt.

And DragonRacer, you can craft your own armor to look how you want. Which means, yes, you can outfit your entire party in pink plate armor. He did say something, though, about not making it easy for you... dem pink dyes might be a bit off the beaten path...

Maybe you have to battle a pink krogan battlemaster:innocent:
It should be possible though, DAO has superman after all.

So among the the piles of awesome information that keep being dropped like someone put an "Extra Loot" mod on the devs, the main things that stand out to me are:

1. Qunari PC, obviously. That is amazing. I was considering playing a female dwarf for my canon Inquisitor, but it might have to be a (still female) qunari now. I would jokingly suggest that every conversation should include "No" as a dialogue option, but I don't want to perpetuate the use of that meme.

2. Keeps. Multiple keeps, apparently, which are heavily customizable. And according to Cameron Lee in one of those videos, it sounds like we also have at least some freedom to choose which ones/how many we take control of.

3. And the ability to craft and name our own weapons (and armor?), which is one of those neat "little" things that I actually mentioned a while back as something that I'd love to see (the naming in particular). I'm not sure if it was mentioned somewhere whether the weapons can level with the player, but that would be great. It would allow each character to have a signature weapon, which really adds to the feeling of each playthrough being unique.

Also, my reaction to the confirmation of animated bowstrings was equal parts "Neat!" and "Ha!" I've never cared much about it, but I know it's one of those things that is brought up frequently and is of those details that drives some people crazy, so my first thought was about the reaction of those people.

Female Saarebas. As an Grand Inquisitor. Sure, why not? Just cut those stitches on the mouth, get rid of the Avaraad control, and go ahead!
[/sarcasm]

Being a Tal-Vashoth could explain some things, but it's hard to imagine why would anyone even think of allowing a Tal-Vashoth to lead the Inquisition and give resources, humans, elves and dwarves under his\\her command.

Also, neither Sten nor Arishok apparently were aware about the true role of females and mages within the Qun.

And...I'm trying not even to think about possible romance content...

David Gaider, can you hear me?! Probably not, but here are your own posts about Female Qunari as LI. Did you change your mind now? Because that's what you did, you introduced the Female Qunari as a valid part of the romance arc, as a player character, but that does not change much. You allowed it to happen. Unless, you tell us, that Female Qunari are cut off from romance content.

Uh... are people not allowed to change their minds? I don't even think he did. He actually said a qunari romance would be interesting. He just had no interest in writing a romance BECAUSE QUNARI. Plus that thread was DA's version of quarian sweat. I would've been put off from the start.

I think he didn't like the idea of a female qunari romance is because the reason why people want it discourage him from considering the romance since it was borderline fetish.

Just watched the shaky cam videos, and I am blown away. The game looks absolutely gorgeous! Sidenote: Don't read the comments on those videos... It's just a bunch of the typical "Bioware ruined my life" nonsense.

All of the other news(qunari, tactical cam, etc...) is music to my ears :)

Being the outspoken Qunari-hater here, I could care less about them being added. Won't be touching that race.

The other features look particularly swell though. These keeps and what-not have my interest.

Still waiting for the option to wipe out or throw back the Qunari and be done with it. They can shove their backwards, logicless ideology up their arses.

Have been away from internet and, like, wow, qunari protagonist.

I just have two questions and no idea where to start looking. Do you lot know?

1. Did they say you could play qunari mage?
2. Also, qunari qunari? Like Sten? How do you even name your character?

OK. Another one.

3. Aren't most qunari women not, like, warriors etc?

Very much looking forward to how all this is addressed. (Not sarcastic. I expect it will be.)

First, we were forced to be part of the Chantry. Now, we're railroaded to following the Qun (obviously with all races, not just the qunari). What will be next?

How would that even work? I love the ability to have many different races mind you but this is starting to sound weird now o.o; I'd hate for it to be shoehorned in as fan service[/quote]

Guess you will have to live with disopointment. <_<

Cause given that the Qunari are the only force short of a blight capale of getting Thedas to work together against them, how will one of them lead the world?

Answer they would not, no Leader would bow to them. This is pointless 'fan service'

From Ausstig. Didn't you see his post?
I was being sarcastic about Ausstig's post and the people who though the Inquisition will be forced to serve the Chantry.

Qunari is essentially an ethnoreligious term, similar to Jew. There is the Qunari religion, consisting of people from any race. And there is the Qunari race/ethnicity, consisting solely of the gray ox-people.

No.

A Jew is a follower of Judisum. THAT IS ALL. They are not a race, they 'Jewish race' are Arabs. Or a term used to refer to Jewish people. They are not an actual race, it is made up. Like Aryan.

The Ox men are called something else, Kossith (sp). They are commonly miss labed as Qunari, but it is not true.

Also hhh89. My post was also going to lead into a joke about people complaing about the Chantry railroading but loving this. I just posted it early. ( i was trying to come up with a good line)

1. There is a Jewish ethnicity.
2. The writers, or at least David Gaider, dislike the term kossith. And it has been established as an archaic term in-universe. So virtually no one uses it except an unknown number of Thedosian historians.
