the reason her name is displayed as Jack in some areas is because part of her loyalty quest is giving her a real name. Subject Zero is not a real name. The developers just setting up these shots had a sense of humor and wanted to give you fools something to talk about. There, happy?

Whenever a Bioware Developer says that Subject Zero is the one of the most interesting characters, this is what they mean. It's 100% confirmed(*) that Subject Zero has Male genitals, in addition to boobs. This is the biggest Plot twist in Mass Effect 2, and a marvel of writing by any standard.

Bald tough girl named Jack? obviously a homage to the awesomeness that is Pitch Black. Too bad mr. Diesel ruined the Riddick character with the whole Chronicles of Riddick bussiness.

EDIT: Oh yeah, to anyone who hasn't seen Pitch Black: Jack was a young woman/girl pretending to be a boy to get respect or whatever, she wasn't trans-gendered.
