Character Customization

However, I've noticed that Bioware has been kinda slacking with this. While I think the armor customization is a GREAT idea, I've noticed that all that they usually let you customize is the characters head only. This usually ends up feeling very samey and dull after your first character. The hairstyles are ESPECIALLY lacking and offer very little variation. Many times I've been wanting to change things up but found very little I could do about it. What if I wanted to make a shorter Sherpard? What if I wanted to make Shepard fat or skinny? What if I wanted to make a nerdy or old Shepard? What if I wanted to make a female Shepard with boobs three times the size of her head and have them sag past her hips? What if I wanted to make a Shepard that looked like they had one too many eplosions to the face?
I just can't do it. The face customization usually feels underwhelming even though there's a million little options, which usually change nothing noticable. When it IS noticable, it's usually ridiculous to the point where your character will looks like a Frankenstein reject. However that's a feature I like, since you can clearly see the changes happening to your characters face. Not to mention the OODLES of fun it is to make your character look hilarious....which I've mentioned before already....shushireallylikescrewingupacharactersface;-;
What do you people think? Would you like to see a withered old man destroying hundreds of enemies with his sheer awesomeness of oldness? Perhaps you'd like to see a fat midget mowing down Geth after Geth with nothing but the melee attack? Maybe you'd even like to see somebody that looks more customized other than the same copy/pasted character model but with a different face?
Please keep the arguments civil. I know it seems I'm complaining alot, and I am, but honestly I'm just wanting that little extra something in a game about making the character how you want him/her to be. I'm not asking for major stuff. Just a little body customization. A few inches to height here, a few pounds more/less there, just some simple stuff. I don't exactly want my hero having the exact same height and body type as everyone else, ya know?
Anyways, discuss. I'd like to see if it's just me or if there are more like me out there. Also, yes I know there are limitations as to what they can do but a few more options couldn't hurt, right?

Or a MaleShep who doesn't have his eyes half close and staring at the floor at critical plot points.

Shep's default height and bulk is just fine to me. And the only thing that I don't appreciate is the hair. That glitchy fuzzy thing was the closest thing I had to what I wanted. Im not asking for much in terms of long hair. Just something similar to this guy's > z.about.com/d/menshair/1/0/V/-/-/-/03long.jpg I mean he's a Spectre. He could blow some random civvie's brains out on a whim with no reprocussions and he's forced to follow military hair regs when he's not even technically with the Alliance anymore.

I think this will be solved by being able to customize her casual clothes. Just choose the formal uniform, it has a higher collar, it helps. I saw it briefly in the customization dev video and she actually looked properly proportioned.

Certainly be interesting to see any cool ones people come up with, specially with the new 'code' system where once someone created a cool one they can pass out the code used to other people so they can use it too.

I always wanted a Kate Beckinsale Shep. The only FemShep I'd care to have.
Also; your avatar is lol.

Bypassing the eugenics thing altogether, Shepard is a marine, and a special forces marine at that. Special forces operatives aren't fat.

I just want what they had in Rainbow Six. Were you could take a picture of yourself and it would make you in the game... that would be cool.
Bioware is years behind in that technology

You also have to remember that the characters have to interact (shake hands, have sex and so on) and the art department would have to make animations for short people interacting with tall people and medium sized people and vice versa. Having a standard height just makes it easier on the art department.
I know they were able to pull it off in The Sims 3, but that game is all about character interactions where as the Mass Effect development team has to spend a lot of time developing squadmates, backstories, armors, enemies, combat mechanics and so on.
I won't even comment on your giant saggy boobs request...

I'll hold you to that; and if you disappoint me... The consequences will be negligible to nonexistent.

Best I could do with the tools at hand. I could point out a thousand things wrong, but the creator is simply too limited.
