It looks like Darrah, Gaider and Laidlaw have managed to take our feedback into account. It looks a bit more like DAO than DA2 but it also takes influences from The Elder Scrolls, Borderlands and The Witcher in all the right ways. I'm sold and keep in mind that selling me on any new game is very difficult to do. As long as PC players get a save import option, I'm happy.

And is it just me or are DAI, Dead State, Final Fantasy XV, Wasteland 2, Project Eternity, The Witcher 3 and Torment: Tides of Numenara part of a next gen RPG  Renaissance?

DA:I looks better than DA:O in every ways so far, in my opinion.

Oh, I am impressed as well. I honestly didn't think they could surprise us in a good way but hey! They actually did
It's still too early to say if they game will be good or not, but I'd preorder it even today

it looks really impressive, I exspected it to be good but this is something else.

Could it really surpass Origins?

Atm Skyrim and Origins are my two favorite games but this looks like it might top those games.

I'm actually impressed aswell by everything i've seen they are putting a lot of effort into this game and blending both of the gameplays together and improving them especially the decision to make the tactical camera to everyone this time around unlike Orgins, one big complaint that a lot of people had about DA2 was the lack of an isometric camera and the tactical approach of Orgins.

I'm also impressed. It is true that they said the terrain affects the walking animation. And the area is very huge to explore.
There is still space for improvements. The enemies are like newbies just waiting for you to hit them. In another scene, when the inquisitor strike the large shield, the swing is not blocked and unphysical.

Looks good and seems to be a better game than Biowares's recent games
Nevertheless I'm more impressed by the atmosphere in the stormy forest in the short leaked Witcher 3 gameplay video.

Hail the return of the king? Got to say I was sceptical with DA:I up untill now. I was sure that the Witcher 3 would be the new king but it seems that DA:I is setting the bar really high.

Good to see the rpg master race is having a renaissance.

DA:I is much closer to DA:O than crappy DA2 ever was

Very impressed from what I have seen. The graphics look amazing for may be the final version. The combat speed feels like a good compromise between Origins and 2. The ability to play as a Human, Dwarf, and Elf again made me feel even happier, even more-so now that I can play as a Qunari.
