Liara's romance is actually pretty dreadful until Cronos--only time I seriously wondered if a character was just dating me to be polite.

For MShep? Tali is probably your best bet, unless you're willing to do m/m, in which case I recommend Steve. Ash becomes something of a nonentity on the Normandy. I've only watched Tali's on YT, but there are some nice moments there.

Honest answer though, I largely had the same play through with Ashley in ME1 and Tali in ME2, stuck with Tali in ME3 mainly since despite her misgivings about Cerberus and surprise at Shep's return she had his back regardless and didn't keep nagging about how she didn't trust me even though my Shep was Paragon and never really sided with Cerberus.

The quarians are in the postion that they're in becuase it was a hell of a lot more then just one jackass, more like just about every single quarian that fled Rannoch in the firstplace, after trying to kill off all the geth and any of the Quarians who sided with them. 

Tali and Koris are a minority also, the name Qwib-Qwib is hilarious.

I don't see the issue with this, Surley letting the collectors get their hands on your body would be a more pleasant experience then waking up in a cerberus lab. 

Now legion specifically using a piece of your armor to patch a hole is a little odd... especially if Liara had the rest of it minus the helmet sitting in her apartment.

Wait, trying to enforce council law  by trying to exterminate the Geth is evil? But butchering millions upon millions of Quarians and other organic civilians, who literally had nothing to do with the war, was good? Hell, you have some twisted morals.

I was not aware, that a 7 year old Quarian girl who escaped her gruesome death at the hands of merciless machines, with both parents dead, is a jackass. Neither was I aware, that the decisions of the Quarian government and military were in any way whatsoever affected by what the civilians thought or wanted.

To quote a dying Dorn'Hazt: "Please forgive us, the Civilian Fleet didn't want this war, we're sorry.". Three Admirals wanted war, the majority of the 17 million Quarians was against it, so apparently it's now just to commit genocide upon the entire species, upon your allies.

Interesting, especially considering how Tali has more content than anyone here except Liara and the fact that Tali is one of, if not the most popular romance in the series.

One moment he's gleefully torturing Balak, executing Shiala and capping Wrex, the next he's holding hands and being all cutesy with her. It's okay though, because they were both mechanics who were driven from their homes by an attacking force, so I made him a Reaper god soley to protect her from harm.

Considering that she begs Shepard, in tears, to come back, I had to think happy thoughts for a while.

I like her ME2 romance. It was by far the most realistically written and believable romance in that game, imo. She has consistent relationship build and flirting.

Too bad they have cut alot of Kelly's content in ME3 (and included Traynor in place). The leaked script had some good parts in for Kelly
