That's true, I suppose.Genshie wrote...
There is so much that we haven't seen this vast world that I think most peeps would rather have little to no back tracking to areas from previous games.

See, that's what I was thinking.Filament wrote...
It would certainly be an iconic stronghold to revisit, updated so not every goddamn tree in the distance is the same.
And Elfman, Aeonar being in game could be very possible. It might have been stormed by the mages... It would be interesting to see what's going on there now!

That said, I'd rather visit Highever. See how that place has changed over the years.

I have seen or will see that damned fortress 14 times. 14 times. I do not want to go back.

A nostalgic walk on the bridge, looking at the forestry and mountains on both sides, then making our way actually into one of the most historic locations in Thedas?
I'm down for that. I'll never forget Duncan talking to us on the bridge, then leaving with Rabbit while we walked around the area.
Just being there again is enough.

That said, if we're importing a Dalish save, would Ostagar be included as part of the Hinterlands given to the Dalish as a new homeland? Unless that went horribly south as hinted in DA2, it would be interesting to see a Dalish controlled Ostagar.

I thought I heard that some locations in Ferelden were being included, and if so, not sure which locations.

I would be curious to see/know the degree to which Ostagar, Lothering, and Denerim have been re-built. Too bad they don't have cameras....hopefully some mention will be made as to how these places are doing in terms of recovery.

It's been ten or so years, so Denerim might be alright again. Lothering would depend on if anyone went back to resettle the land, and Ostagar might have been such an embarassment and sore spot that maybe they let the Wilds reclaim it. xD

If we could go back, that would be a reason, possession might become a fashion statement since the breach. Pure speculation on my part I'm sure.
