Female Qunari Mage first playthrough, Female Dwarf Rogue second. I find playing humans dull in fantasy games and elves usually not very interesting (the exception to this being the Altmer in TES).

Call me boring, but my first two characters are very likely to be human. Their concepts have been floating around in my head for some time now... new ones may spontaneously appear, though, and might even take priority, who knows.

If Origins is any indicator, I *will* try every race and gender combinations in my numerous playthroughs, anyway.

Male Elven Mage followed by a Female Qunari Warrior then I'd say Female Elven Rogue

My first is always a male elf mage. Others will follow, but second will most likely be female Qunari, hopefully mage. Because those sound like the conflicts and challenges will be so much more if the world really fully reacts to race choice.

Surprised there were so many who voted Qunari.
I suspect that's only their enthusiasm talking and they'll actually play human once they have the game.
If I buy the game I'll play human in the first several playthroughs.

And on topic like always 1 Rogue Human 2 Mage race  probably elf or human not sure.

This, so hard. I've always played as a rogue first, and elf rogue when the option shown itself.
Old habits die hard, I guess. However, after the whole "mage Kossith incident" in DA:II, I wanted to see their point of view.
Scary thing would be coming across Qunari as a mage Kossith, seeing how they treat their mages.
