I've never fully understand starting off as a human. Of course I will play one eventually, but I made that mistake in WOW and did not enjoy it as much as any other race.

I was going to have a female dwarf sword and shield warrior. That was yesterday. Now I'm planning a female Qunari two handed sword warrior.

I've wanted to play a Qunari since DA:O.  My first import will be a Dalish elf rogue and a Mage Hawke, so I want to diversify.

So many people say they are playing as humans first....but that's so boring.Anyway I'm going to play as female elven mage first,then a elven rogue second,and a qunari warrior last.

human first
elf second
and I'll definitely try a qunari PC later on.

I probably won't play any dwarves though. I hate being short

I am curious what results they'll get from the players of DAI. All this demand for qunari and then statistics will probably show only 3 % ever made a qunari PC.

I wrote elf, although I could go for human. But it depends a lot on the actual background. A dalish mage, for example, is more exciting (for me) than a city elf.

I hope that's not the case.Besides statistics aren't always correct.

There's that,but how many games offer race selection yet people always go with the generic human option?I can name several.

First will definitely be Qunari mage. Male or female, haven't decided yet. I'm already thinking of names, though.
Second, I don't know yet, either elf or dwarf. Class and gender will come later.
DA2 bored me enough with the human protag so I will go for human last.

If Qunari females aren't bad looking and I can play as a female Qunari warrior (not sure about this, I think there MIGHT be lore/race restrictions on classes like DAO) then that'd be my first playthrough.

Yeah I wouldn't say boring or uncreative. At least unlike WOW, the humans do have interesting aspects. It is just a confusing thing though. Even though I will play one at some point. Just not initially.

They're the easiest race to relate to (obviously), and on a first playthrough I like to make the choices I'd probably make.

Then on replays, I can choose other races and roleplay them as to how I think they'd react.

I'd also disagree that humans are boring. You and I are humans, after all, and everybody I talk to on a daily basis is a human.

I'll play them all, but I'm torn between playing an elf mage or a qunari mage. xD

1.Female Human Mage or Rogue
2.Female Dwarf Warrior
3.Female Elf Mage
4.Female Qunari
5.????
6.???

Elf, not sure about class. If archers are like they were in DAO, rogue. If not, mage to honor my canon Warden.

All of them but the first will be a lady dwarf. Then a male elf then a lady qunari, then a male qunari, a female elf, a male dwarf, then probably a human and from there whatever fits the character type I have in mind.
