Human, first time around anyways, Then maybe Qunari/Kossith the second time around.

Usually I start off as an elven Rogue Male or Female and branch out from there depending on what romances there are and other factors but with the inclusion of Qunari as the 4 th race I migh have to reconsider that.

Qunari rogue. I hardly play humans unless given a good story reason to. (My current DAO runs have two human nobles (King and Queen) and a human mage for the lineage to Hawke.) I find them to be a little boring.

Human female Rogue or Mage (depending on the world state I decide to import). However, I will also make a human male at the same time. Want to see how the CC handles the different genders. Will eventually play said human male (warrior or mage, most likely).

Taking into account, my past play throughs in DAO, I will eventually play multiple runs as elves and dwarfs. The human protag, is just one of the best ways for me personally, to get immersed in an unexplored rpg. They are not necessarily my favorite, but when the game is completely new to me, it does help to see a face that looks "familiar" (oh, and that isn't a self insert comment....just a "I'm surrounded by humans every day" kind of thing. )

As for Qunari, I will eventually play them. Find them fascinating as a race/religion, but not terribly interested in playing one.

Human female, probably mage.

I'd only be interested in playing an Elf female if we get to give the Elves a new homeland again or they gain equal footing with Humans.

I'd play a Kossith female mage if she's a Tal-Vashoth or at least not a follower of the Qun.

I'm completely torn between a female dwarf rogue and a female elf mage, but after yesterday's reveal a female Qunari sounds really awesome since we've never even seen them in-game before. Oh well, at least I've got another year to decide....

Female Qunari rogue first, that's pretty much set in stone.

Female dwarf, female elf or male elf will be next. No interest in playing a human.

Female elf mage first, then maybe try the Qunari, maybe female, I very rarely play a warrior so I'll probably give that a go. Then maybe an elf rogue.
Then probably 100+ more mages of all possible races.

I've been set on starting as a male elf rogue for a while now, and with the isometric camera now available for consoles, I look forward to using archery.

For my second playthrough, the one that best fits my second continuity would be a female qunari warrior. In the demo, I'll go with the two-handed sword because I loved how it looked in the demo. I could see the weight of the blade in how the Inquisitor moved, and it didn't look too slow, either.

After that, I'm not sure. It'll depend on how I like the styles of the different classes.
