In Dragon Age II, each foe is immune to a kind of elemental damage. But all I need to do is to prepare two of three weapons with different types of elemental damage. The immunity does not make it difficult but boring because I just have to change the weapons.
This is my suggestion:
What about letting every foe has ability for nightmare difficulty, instead of immunity? In DAO a number of foes can use abilities, e.g., scattershot, paralyze and shield bash, etc. But in DA2 I encounter more enemies with less abilities. Most of the enemies just strike again and again, making the gameplay quite boring. So can we have tactical combats in DAI that there are not as much foes as in DA2 but each foe has two or three abilities? Thus the foes have advanced actions rather than attacking repeatly. I think it will be more challenging to deal with the enemies. If that setting makes combats too difficult, it can be only for nightmare.
Suggestion about the nightmare combat
